Davina was really the most realistic character in the entire The Vampire Diaries/The Originals/Legacies universe because she always had smoke for Klaus, unlike everyone else who would forgive Klaus for various atrocities because he was charming/had a sad childhood.
tbh Vincent was always bringing up the shit the Mikaelsons did among their lives. He was a pretty good character, miss him. Also i agree with you and i feel like he needed more hate on him by the characters that wasn't their families. One of the best lines on the show is Hayley looking at Klaus and saying SHE was going to be the one to talk to Cami after she got in transition, because SHE was the one who knew what it feels like to be dragged to the Mikaelson's world and got killed for it. Sometimes Klaus really needed those handless snaps on his face to get his shit together
I love how when Freya and Elijah were trying to find a way to kill Lucien. Klaus told them not to kill Davina and find another way. Showing he really saw her as his family
I love their relationship sm! It's very chaotic, but one thing they have in common is they will both fight to protect their loved ones and are both so fierce, badass, and powerful! The first scene of Davina trying to slap him awake is so funny!😂😂😂

These two could really play off each other's witty sarcastic comments. Can't blame Davina for hating Klaus since she was just a teenager and he killed the guy she liked just to make a point. She was certainly confident going up against him numerous times, I'll give her that. And to me this animosity makes more sense than say in TVD how everyone sort of forgets the whole Aunt Jenna thing and you don't really see too much hate for Klaus later on from certain characters.

When I watched originals I loved Davina. She was one of the only people that could actually stand up to Klaus. I’m pretty sure I watched both originals and vampire diaries like four times apiece. So sad they ended the shows.
The only character that wasn’t killed by Klaus after causing so much shit to him. He knew she’s not cheap, she’s doing right by the ones she loves. A value they both have in common Klaus sees that despite all the differences battle they have.
Davina is ultimately the reason for Klaus and Elijah dying. If her and Vincent never unleashed the hollow they'd still be here. She was a thorn to Klaus
