Keep an eye on the sunroof drain mines 77k now and sunroof drain started cloggingand leaking in car at 50k, took to dealer multiple times for $150 repair each time. Ended up routing the sunroof drain tube to a/c drain and no leaks lol ( do not take to dealer )
I have a 2011 XS and had the roof drain too I recommend just get pressurized air and soapy water and do it in intervals to keep it clear of debris, also get a heater hose bleeder port the stock one is a glass filled plastic that breaks and causes a coolant leak
I got a 2010 g37x but wish I could’ve found a g37xs. But had mine for 4 years with 69k miles and i recently just hit over 130k. I’ve only blown a hoes once. But other than that no breakdowns or any issues whatsoever and I drive my car pretty hard and daily. Just regular maintenance and runs great and i pray I can say the same for years to come. Dope video bro ✊🏽
Justis bought a 2011 G37 XS with 108K. Man, O man, can this thing pull. I had prior experiences with G35's and I was extremely happy with the performance by those vehicles. The G37 XS is a different animal, way more horsepower, torquier, it rides so smooth, but it can be sporty as well.
About to purchase a 2013 G37X Sedan with 57k miles right now haha. 1 owner 0 accidents. Too good to pass up on. Even though I'm downgrading from a Q50 and 340i, (totaled the Q50, offloaded 340i due to maintenance/breakages) I'm still excited! Love the G37, and figured even though it's older I want something reliable and it's not a problem.
Absolutely love mine! Same exact year and model. I got mine with 68k miles and now I’m currently at 95,600, still running strong. Only issue I have is, whenever I get on a curve and steer to the right, I hear a wobble or helicopter sound. Not sure if it’s an axle or wheel bearing. You can hear it on my POV drives. Please help! 😃🤙
@@thestockg37 oh damn you still haven't fixed it lmao, but yea the g37x wheel bearings are not that durable, I bought an exact oem replacement around 60k mileage and its going good so far. The labor tho is expensive unless you doing it yourself which is no easy task.
the 2010 and up got a new front bumper , a little updated headlights although hard to tell , grill is different, etc etc . Also , if you get a g37s or G37xS, you also get a different from bumper than the G37x or regular G37 , different wheels on 2010+
The main difference is 2012+ received a metal gallery gasket, whereas the previous years had a normal one which would go bad at around 120k miles and onward
Considering I'm about to purchase one with 57k miles for 16k flat I think that dealer was hiking the price up a good amount. Car market was in a better spot back when you commented as well. My buddy also bought one 8 months before you had commented 2012 G37 Coupe with every option available for 12k, 76k miles.
That sounds like a decent price! Be aware of the steering rack, typically $3k or more, valve cover gaskets which are about $2k, and front batwings typically rust out around that mileage, those are about $2500. Once those are taken care of, you should be good for another 80-100k miles!
That’s a great deal. I bought a G37 sedan journey that had the premium package for 17k. It had 70K miles. The paint needed some TLC. The inside looked like nobody ever drove it. I got the extended warranty of course. So far it drives like a dream. I’m in California too. The prices are usually sky high here. I wish I pull up and show the G. I absolutely adore that I got the premium package version. It has Bose speakers. It sounds perfect.
My 2013 g37x sedan only has 54,000 miles. I have had it now for 3 years and have had 0 repairs, 0 mechanical issues. Love this car.
