Other people who should have been on the list 1.Cree Summer, from the sitcom A different World. She played Penny from orginal cartoon Inspector Gadget, Batman Beyond, Told by Ginger, and other cartoons 2. Regina King Boondocks 3. Phil La mar should have been on the list. 4. James Avery a.k.a Uncle Phil He was 1980s Shredder
Brian is the character who sounds the most like Seth in real life. If Peter, Brian and Stewie are all in a scene together, he must get exhausted from having to alternate between voices.
Two honorable mentions I would throw in here are Sam Marin from Regular Show & Alex Hirsch from Gravity Falls. In Regular Show, Sam Marin voiced 3 different characters and none of them sound alike: Benson, Pops, & Muscle Man. Alex Hirsch is the creator of Gravity Falls, but he is also the voices of Grunkle Stan & Soos, neither of whom sound like his actual voice.
Edna Mode (female) from "The Incredables" is actually Brad Bird (male), the director of the film. Originally Edna was going to be voiced by Lilly Tomlin, but when she heard Brad's temp track she said "What do you need me for? You have it right there."
@@WWChampion16 Oh yea. I mean it's not like he needs the money he'd make it off re-runs. One day I'm sure. Maybe he wants to catch up with the Simpsons.
Other actors who sound nothing like their animated tv characters in real life are Trey Parker as Eric Cartman and Randy Marsh and Matt Stone as Kyle Broflovski and Butters Stotch.
My list: #10: Yuri Lowenthal - Ben Tennyson in Ben 10 Alien Force #9: Kevin Michael Richardson - Trigon in Teen Titans #8: Candi Milo - Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory #7: Jeff Bennett - Johnny Bravo in Johnny Bravo #6: Cree Summer - Number 5 in Codename Kids Next Door #5: Phil Lamarr - Jack in Samurai Jack #4: Tom Kenny - Raymundo in Xiaolin Showdown #3: Steve Blum - Vilgax in Ben 10 Classic #2: Grey Delisle - Azula in Avatar The Last Airbender #1: Tara Strong - Raven in Teen Titans
The title was they don't sound like their real voice. Not how many voiceover they did. Regina King should have been on the list She did voice playing 2 little boys Riley and Huey on the Boondocks. Michael who has a deep voice in real life and played Cleveland Jr a preteen boy A lot of women do voiceover for boy cartoon characters I think Tara Strong and Cree Summer have been done more voice overs than Tom Kenny. Not sure it could be a tie.
Top 5 cartoons made us believe "Friendship is Magic" 1. Happy Tree Friends 2. Lego Friends 3. The Magical School Bus 4. Codname: Kids Next Door 5. Recess
Andy Samberg as Rip Digman Digman (2023-) who does a washed up Indiana Jones with a Nicholas Cage voice can't wait for season 2 even though I didn't see the season 1 finale my app just didn't put It hopefully that changes for the better
I applaud Seth for doing so many voices in the same scene for decades at a time for different shows that he created. *how* he hasn’t lost his own vocal cords yet from the first episodes of each show to the current season of each show today is an accomplishment on its own
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill should have been on this list. Kevin was the the voice of Batman and Mark was the voice of The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. Mark was also the voice of fire lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Scientist on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
But Kevin Conroy still sounded like Batman even when he wasn’t voicing the character. Trust me, I saw enough clips and voice recordings to know that the GOAT didn’t even have to change his voice to match the B-man, his voice just literally made waves without needing a pitch change. Mark Hamill isn’t that different, his real voice could match either of the two characters, so what you talking about? I know that their voices sound almost too good to be real, but it’s true..
Why is Mel Blanc #7 he should have been #1 he is a legendary voice actor he is called THE MAN OF A THOUSAND VOICES he did everything from Looney Tunes to The Flintstones
MsMojo I absolutely Love ❤️ this Channel! This is the Best List I wish you can more on Actor's that speak like Animated TV Characters, Please keep up the Good Work.
u might like David Menkin! he has an amazing voice; like Malos(from "Xenoblade Chronicles 2"), Barnabas(from "FFXVI"), and my favorite Rayman(from "Captain Laserhawk")!
I think "Lady Dynamite" Maria Bamford deserves an honorable mention for the scores of voices she does on Adventure Time and other animated shows as well as her many live roles, powering through despite her serious emotional and physical issues which she confronts head on. I love her.

Honorable mention: John Alderton from Fireman Sam (1987-94) he voiced all characters, four were female (Sarah, Bella, Dilys and firefighter Penny Morris).
I love John Roberts! His YT videos in which he parodied his mom cracked me up for years and I was ecstatic when he was tapped to voice Linda Belcher. He's so perfect in that role ❤
Here’s another one Jokey from “The Smurfs” 2021 reboot series. He’s played by Kaycie Chase The character sounds like a comedic relief white boy in a high school movie His voice actor (actress actually) has the voice of an angel! When she sings it damn near makes me want to cry
I recall not believing Mark Hamil was the voice of Joker until I saw him do it, so I would have put him on here. Maurice LaMarche and Billy West also do wide-ranging voices, a couple of which, I'd imagine, sound nothing like their normal voices. There was a vid I watched a while ago about the voice-over gal who did Ash Catchem. She had a good range, too.
i like that john Roberts is no, 1 but what about Dan Mintz as Tina in the same show, or why does H. Jon Benjamin always gets overlooked as Sterling Archer? i mean, yes, Jon Benjamin's voice doenst change with any of his characters, but his unchanged voice is what lands him voice acting jobs! some how, it doesnt matter if its the scumbag coach in "home movies" or a caring middleaged dad in Bob's Burgers or a James Bond type spy on Archer.. his voice and acting excels yet he is always underrated
While you were shouting out to Bob's Burgers you should have mentioned Dan Mintz who voices Tina. He's not only super nice (met him at SD Comic Con) he's also pretty attractive. I'm hoping the cast of Bob's Burgers will return to Comic Con this year.
You mean to tell me that a character who drives me mad *Spongebob* and a character I absolutely adore and find comfort in *Eduardo* are voiced by the same person. K now my mind is blown, usually I know things like this but this one is a shock to me.
I think Clancy Brown deserves recognition for one of his roles in this category: Pai Mei from Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. Seriously, that guy sounds NOTHING like how Brown usually does his voice work.
well.. H. Jon Benjamin, (Bob of Bob's Burgers, Sterling Archer from Archer, coach Mc Guirk from Home movies) sounds just like his animated characters every single time
Did any of these voice actors surprise YOU with their range? Let us know below, and check out our video of the Top 10 Most Iconic Voice Actors in Animation - ruclips.net/video/PP9SsUs3WwM/видео.html
Number 2 should have been Number 1. Equity at its finest.
Other people who should have been on the list
1.Cree Summer, from the sitcom A different World.
She played Penny from orginal cartoon Inspector Gadget, Batman Beyond,
Told by Ginger, and other cartoons
2. Regina King Boondocks
3. Phil La mar should have been on the list.
4. James Avery a.k.a Uncle Phil
He was 1980s Shredder
Cree Summer is basically the voice of most people’s childhood but I will always love her first and foremost for being Princess Kida in Atlantis.
Thank you for highlighting actual voice actors and not just movie stars doing voice work.
Brian is the character who sounds the most like Seth in real life. If Peter, Brian and Stewie are all in a scene together, he must get exhausted from having to alternate between voices.
It makes sense since Brian is basically just Seth's mouthpiece.
They record the scenes one voice at a time I believe
@@TheUnmitigatedDawnyeah I agree. Plus as the main post said Brian is his usual voice just a bit deeper
It’s edited. He isn’t doing all of them at once.
Brad Bird is hilarious as Edna 😂 I mean fellow Pixar animator Bob Petersen is the voice of Roz in “Monsters Inc” and they’re so funny
I knew that Brad Bird had did a sample that everyone liked, I did not know that Ms Frizzle was supposed to be the actual voice.
The fact she talked herself out of a paycheck for art
I recently got into bobs burgers and I gotta say I love Linda’s voice
It's wierd to hear 🔊 Tina on Sirus XM 🛰 . The male comic plays Tina.
@@DavidLLambertmobile Tina is played by Dan Mintz, who also does a great job at it, the whole cast of Bob's burgers is comedy and voice acting gold.
I love Bob's Burgers, while my brother is a major Rick & Morty fan.
@@metalbutterflygaming1544 there is no "either-or " for me, I love both
Tara Strong's most impressive voice is Raven, actually.
I say Truffles Is her most Impressive at least In opinion.
Raven is kinda close to her actual voice though
She was also the voice of Miss Minutes on the "Loki" tv series.
Too much narrator speaking and not enough examples..
Mel Blanc was Great as the Voice of the Looney Tunes
Truly the granddaddy of voice actor
Agree ❤
I loved Daffy Duck I at least wanted him to win or defeat Bugs one time for real
According to Seth he would really get red in the face after he records Stewie and Peter in the same session and had to drink a lot of hot tea.
He also said Stan Smith hurts his voice the most which is weird because I would think it would be the high pitched voices but nope.
@@cherryblossoms85 I know both shows are successes, but I think he would be relieved if they both ended so he can rest his voice.
@@WWChampion16 Oh yea. I mean it's not like he needs the money he'd make it off re-runs. One day I'm sure. Maybe he wants to catch up with the Simpsons.
Dee Bradley Baker is so amazingly talented. Dude not just does voices but also creature noises
@@Marksman3434 He does Klaus too and she didn't mention that.
Mel Blanc only at #7??????? He should be ranked higher
Agree like say #1
@@mauriskywalker319 i agree
He needs to be Number 1. In my opinion, no voice actor beats Mel Blanc. He's a classic!
@@johnnytheyoungmaestro i agree
@@johnnytheyoungmaestro not just a classic a Legendary voice actor
Other actors who sound nothing like their animated tv characters in real life are Trey Parker as Eric Cartman and Randy Marsh and Matt Stone as Kyle Broflovski and Butters Stotch.
They use voice modifiers to sound younger though but just for the kids.
Seth makes the most hilarious characters, i swear to God! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
No one ever mentioned Dee Bradley Baker being literally EVERY Transformation in Ben 10 UAF except for Rath.
That’s a massive accomplishment.
One of my favorite VA is Billy West. I would say West as Zoidberg or Zap Branigan would be my pick.
Tara Strong and Seth Macfarlane are practically queen and king of not sounding like themselves when voicing someone
My list:
#10: Yuri Lowenthal - Ben Tennyson in Ben 10 Alien Force
#9: Kevin Michael Richardson - Trigon in Teen Titans
#8: Candi Milo - Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory
#7: Jeff Bennett - Johnny Bravo in Johnny Bravo
#6: Cree Summer - Number 5 in Codename Kids Next Door
#5: Phil Lamarr - Jack in Samurai Jack
#4: Tom Kenny - Raymundo in Xiaolin Showdown
#3: Steve Blum - Vilgax in Ben 10 Classic
#2: Grey Delisle - Azula in Avatar The Last Airbender
#1: Tara Strong - Raven in Teen Titans
I thought Tom Kenny would be number one for playing most characters
The title was they don't sound like their real voice.
Not how many voiceover they did.
Regina King should have been on the list
She did voice playing 2 little boys Riley and Huey on the Boondocks.
Michael who has a deep voice in real life and played Cleveland Jr a preteen boy
A lot of women do voiceover for boy cartoon characters
I think Tara Strong and Cree Summer have been done more voice overs than Tom Kenny.
Not sure it could be a tie.
Was Woody Johnson on the adult cartoon Brickelberry if anyone remembers that show
Stewie doesn't pronounce some words with a British accent because he doesn't have a British accent. He speaks with a Transatlantic accent.
Regina king as Riley and Huey in the boondocks is more surprising than some of these
Top 5 cartoons made us believe
"Friendship is Magic"
1. Happy Tree Friends
2. Lego Friends
3. The Magical School Bus
4. Codname: Kids Next Door
5. Recess
Happy tree friends😱😱😭😭🤣🤣
Andy Samberg as Rip Digman Digman (2023-) who does a washed up Indiana Jones with a Nicholas Cage voice can't wait for season 2 even though I didn't see the season 1 finale my app just didn't put It hopefully that changes for the better
I applaud Seth for doing so many voices in the same scene for decades at a time for different shows that he created. *how* he hasn’t lost his own vocal cords yet from the first episodes of each show to the current season of each show today is an accomplishment on its own
Kevin Michael Richardson is also Principal Lewis on American Dad and Jerome on Family Guy
Also Billy on American Dad.
@@nicktaylor2657 and also trigon from teen titans.
Tara & Nancy are Voice-Over queens!

I also know Tara Strong the most from playing Raven from teen Titans and then Twilight from My Little pony along with all the bunch of others
Tara Strong will forever by my favorite VA, I love her as Raven and Bubbles!
It's nice to finally put faces to the names I've seen flashed across the credits for so many decades.
Why is Mel Blanc #7 he should have been #1 he is a legendary voice actor he is called THE MAN OF A THOUSAND VOICES he did everything from Looney Tunes to The Flintstones
i agree
Fun Fact: He was going to be the original voice of *Nintendo’s Mario* 😃
IKR!!!
No June Foray which is a shame. She was brilliant
@@marthabixler1606 if there was a top 20, she’d be on there.
Tara Strong & Mel Blanc should be the top 2 ...Consider Mel Blanc transitioning to Porky Pig ..and Tara Strong transitioning to Truffles (Chowder)
MsMojo I absolutely Love ❤️ this Channel! This is the Best List I wish you can more on Actor's that speak like Animated TV Characters, Please keep up the Good Work.
Always liked Yeardley Smith.
u might like David Menkin! he has an amazing voice; like Malos(from "Xenoblade Chronicles 2"), Barnabas(from "FFXVI"), and my favorite Rayman(from "Captain Laserhawk")!
Besides Luanne, Brittany Murphy also voiced young Joseph until his metaphorical balls dropped and Breckin Meyer took over the role.
I think "Lady Dynamite" Maria Bamford deserves an honorable mention for the scores of voices she does on Adventure Time and other animated shows as well as her many live roles, powering through despite her serious emotional and physical issues which she confronts head on. I love her.
Nancy Cartwright definitely did. Happy sunday afternoon, Samantha, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The one thing I'm surprised about is the fact that she can sing, she sang twice on The Simpson's.
She does great work balancing her character. I mean she can be Bart and Nelson in 1 scene alone

Alex Hersh has done multi, & on his show "Gravity Falls" he played multi characters together.
THAT'S MY PURSE!
Honorable mention: John Alderton from Fireman Sam (1987-94) he voiced all characters, four were female (Sarah, Bella, Dilys and firefighter Penny Morris).
Mary Kay Bergman should have been on this list!!! 💯
Robert Goulet as the singing voice of Mikey in Recess the animated series
One contribution are a few of the characters from Ed, Edd and Eddy. Specifically the voices of Edd, Johnny, and Rolf.
This is why they are the best 🤩
I can do the big 3 cartoon dads, Homer Simpson, Hank Hill, and Peter Griffin. I get the most compliments on my Hank Hill though.
I love John Roberts! His YT videos in which he parodied his mom cracked me up for years and I was ecstatic when he was tapped to voice Linda Belcher. He's so perfect in that role ❤
I think Linda Belcher is kinda like everyone’s mom
Is based on an impression of his own mother
I thought we would see the actors on-screen doing their voices. Imagine my disappointment.
Some male voice actor voiced as female characters
And the opposite and all the same
What about June Foray?
Kevin was a great Joker 🃏
You mean mark?
Voice Acting Royalty, every one of them.
Charlie Adler sounds nothing like the various goofy characters he voices, although when he yells you can hear a bit of Red Guy and Ed Bighead.
This is to remind everyone that one of the main reason for King of the Hill’s “untimely” cancellation was because of the Cleveland Show.
How can Mel Blanc be anything other than Number 1?
Seriously dee bradley bakers klaus wasnt even mentioned :l
Here’s another one
Jokey from “The Smurfs” 2021 reboot series. He’s played by Kaycie Chase
The character sounds like a comedic relief white boy in a high school movie
His voice actor (actress actually) has the voice of an angel! When she sings it damn near makes me want to cry
I'm completely shocked that Frank Welker (Freddy from Scooby Doo, Nibbler from Futurama, etc.) didn't make an appearance in this list
these jobs would be the dreams careers. these actors are all iconic in their own rights as well, great list.
You forgot Daws Butler.
He voiced Yogi Bear, Peter Patamus, Cap'n Crunch, Wally Gator, Elroy Jetson, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Snagglepuss, Auggie Doggie, Chilly Willy, Jinx The Cat and Baba Looney.
Scarab from Fiona and Cake sounds nothing like Kayleigh McKee's natural voice. Shows just how wide her vocal range is.
i like that john Roberts is no, 1 but what about Dan Mintz as Tina in the same show, or why does H.

No Dee Bradley Baker is best known as the voice of Captain Rex from Star Wars the Clone Wars
All the clones. Lol
I wanna voice act.
What about Tex Avery?
I also had a dream last night i got to spend time with Tom Kenny but I somehow brought up the movie Cast Away which doesn't have the same Tom in it.
You mean to tell me that a character who drives me mad *Spongebob* and a character I absolutely adore and find comfort in *Eduardo* are voiced by the same person. K now my mind is blown, usually I know things like this but this one is a shock to me.
I think Clancy Brown deserves recognition for one of his roles in this category:
Pai Mei from Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. Seriously, that guy sounds NOTHING like how Brown usually does his voice work.
Everyone surprised me except for Nick Krull. That still sounded like him.
Why no love for Mike Henry ? For years he voiced Cleveland Brown, Consuela, Old Man Herbert, Bruce and many others on Family Guy.
How y'all gonna include Dee Bradley Baker and not talk about the fact that he voices literally every single clone trooper in star wars animation!?
and every "Bad Batch" clone force 99 character..
I heard Tara hurt her voice doing Terrence. While Ben 10 sounds the same she must not have put that much hard energy on it in that role.
Why would a voice actor sound anything like their animated character anyway?
well.. H. Jon Benjamin, (Bob of Bob's Burgers, Sterling Archer from Archer, coach Mc Guirk from Home movies) sounds just like his animated characters every single time
Sorry but when I see Dee Bradley, the first thing that comes to mind is Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple
No Cree Summers!?!????
DBB could fill this whole list
Mel Blanc could fill this whole list
WHERE IS BILLY WEST?
u might hear him, as Rayman in "Rayman the Animated Series"!
Regina Hall for Huey and Riley on Boondocks not being included is sinister
Tara Strong and Ashley Eckstein are my favorite voice actors for some strange reason that I can't figure out.
Dee Bradley baker... probably the reason that Frank Welker doesn't get to do as many animal voices anymore.
Mel Blanc was the man with a thousand voices ❤
Nancy also plays Chucky in rugrats
Isnt Tara Strong "Ash Ketchum" as well? Wouldn't that have been a bit more surprising for people to learn?
Omg actors who can act?!?! Crazy!!!
Brad Bird as Edna Mode, 'The Incredibles'
You didn’t show us a clip of how Dee DOES the Platypus clicking.
1:23 Humongousaur vs. Spidermonkey
Mel Blanc was the King. The rest (as good as they are) take a back seat to him .
It’s pretty common to use a woman to voice a cartoon boy. I was really surprised about men being used to voice certain female voices.
Mel blanc should have been at #1 on the list
I met Tom Kenny he is so sweet in person!!!
Love love love Nick kroll
king of the hill is in the making of coming back
How can you have Dee Bradley Baker on the list as anything but the clones from Clone Wars and Bad Batch.
I'm surprised Alan Tudyk isn't on the list
Nancy sounds like bart when she talks normal...
