One of, if not the greatest pedal job of all-time, was against Cruz Pedregon and Phil Burkart at Bristol in 2004. Eric Medlen's winning pedal job against Ron Capps also at Bristol in 2005 is a memorable one to me as well.

These were great and that pedal job by Austin was crazy! But for me the craziest was many years ago between Cruz Pedregon and Phil Burkhart and Cruz's wheel stander too!

Dangerous when you lift long enough and it starts going "tick tick tick", well, sure enough, the next sound is BOOM! 😜

Hi. Can you please tell me - does that "tick, tick, tick" mean that a blower explosion is about to occur? Thank you so much.

Clay M had a HUGE pedal fest, when he worked the other side of fence, with the other organization. I think it was 8-9 stabs.

Although cool, I'm sure Austin got ringed for peddling that many times.
I'm surprised nobody at the starting line hit the kill switch when they were hearing it lol
It was probably just a natural driving reaction to get the car to the finishline but He was playing with fire, any one of those throttle blips could have been a $50,000 disaster... At the end of the day we will probably never see a nitro car peddle that many times so as a fan very cool.

Pedal. Pedal. Why would you kill it on a points run??

I think he thought patten was
" if I get some speed before it bangs the blower, I will reach the finish line first"
Being young and fully funded plays a part I guess.
