Thanks for showing all these secret enemies. They don't really drop any special set or anything but the armor looks are great and this one drops very good looking shinobi set which i was looking for. Shame you can't fight them again though.
So Martial Heir using Aisu Kage-Ryu in Yokohama, William Adams using Nioh-Ryu in Edo and finally Spiritual Ninja using Hayabusa-Ryu in Kyoto Glad I pre-ordered and got these styles but I really want the weapons and armour 😬.
1. Is there an in game description of the Leviathan Uchigatana? 2. Is he using a unique outfit? Or is it just combined from other armor sets? 3. Is the Hayabusa as hard as the previous Nioh games?
1. Yes, I think I haven't checked it out myself but it should be there 2. He is using the hayabusa descendants outfit with unique the unique head shinobi garb designed after ryu hayabusa where is the normal one isn't 3. This one is not nearly hard as the Nioh one. This guy is actually pretty easy to defeat.
You should have formed a bond and unlocked it. Are you sure you spared Li? If you did everything correctly I honestly don't know why you didn't get it. Maybe try to upgrade your bond with Akikatsu.
That's not Ryu Hayabusa, it's just some mook from the Hayabusa clan. Probably the guy that feeds the chickens.
Game does take place before Ryu was born.
Im feeling this guys is just some apprentice and not a hayabusa descendant. Dude didn't use a single ninjutsu.
It is just a little easter egg and the Team Ninja would have to add an entire ninjutsu section if they gave that to him.
I think it has something to do with licensing because the izuna drop in this game is called suplex 😐 but idk

He isn’t as hard as the Hyabusa fights in Nioh. But the secret boss fights in this are kinda difficult.

how do you get the upgrade for the gikei-ryu style?? i spared Li and did the watchman quest

How come you fought him with an ineffective (red) stance?
Shinobi stance is ineffective against everything.
How’d you get the third skill for the gikei-ryu stance
You just need to master the style and spar with akikatsu
You unlock any advanced move for each combat style at the dojo just defeat the proper npc that owns that style though.
