Das Problem ist glaube ich nicht, dass der Song nicht gut ist. Er sticht hald einfach nur nicht raus...tun aber die wenigsten der deutschen Songs
Mir selbst geb ich das nicht aber gōnne es ihr wenn es live genau so klingt wird das Save abgehen nur was ich schade finde sollte bei jedem Land auch die Sprache sein aber naja live wird das Save ein paar Leute mitreißen

Der song ist leider sooo underrated.
Die message ist echt toll und gibt mir persönlich viel Hoffnung und Zuversicht. Der Aufbau ist auch total besonders und ganz anders als die meisten langsamen Lieder. Wenn es live so gut klingt wie die Studio Version und das staging gut durchdacht ist, könnte das in Liverpool wirklich gut abschneiden. Ganz viel Glück und Erfolg auf jeden Fall für den Vorentscheid!

What a difference when you compare the quality to last year's songs. This year there will be a strong preliminary decision from Germany. The song isn't for me though, because I prefer faster songs...but Anica, you have a great song and you sang great.

Surprised by this year’s quality of our preliminary lineup! The drama of the song would do great on Eurovision. Idk if it would be my first choice, just because it will very much depend on the staging. Very excited to see what they have in store, I’m sure they’ve got some things planned

I am really surprised not many people are talking abou this song, after finally listening to all the songs in the German selection this one for me is so clear. I just wish at 1:44 the music kept going from the dramatic drums, it kind of is there and fades away immediately, wish the dramatic drums would continue till the end somehow to give the song that climactic ending.
I think it's good that there is a break in the end, it's too overwhelming otherwise

Dieses Jahr ist richtig stark! Kann mir den Song mega beim ESC vorstellen - mit der Efeu- und Blumenkulisse und nem dickem Laser ab da, wo der Song reinhaut 🥰
Der Song ist sehr gut für den ESC
beginnt auch optisch wie "Where the wild roses grow" von Nick Cave, dann kommt mal ein Paukenschlag und der Song nimmt an Fahrt auf und wird richtig gut. Ob das für den ESC passt? Schwer zu sagen, es müsste ein tolles Bühnenbild geschaffen werden, dann könnte es ganz gut klappen. Der Wechsel der Tonlage bei 2:09 ist auch recht ungewöhnlich und einzigartig.

Ganz stark gesungen und ein einzigartiges Lied in diesem Jahr. Ich seh da eine Gestalt im langen Kleid mit einem "Funken" in der Hand schwermütig über die dunkle, auflodernde Bühne tanzen und Sterne entzünden. ;-)
Wie auch immer. Wenn ihr es auf eure Weise schafft, die geheimnissvolle Stimmung und die düstere Geschichte des Songs lebendig zu machen, dann kann das wirklich ganz weit vorn landen, auch in Liverpool. Viel Erfolg!

Ich weiß nicht warum, aber ich musste fast heulen, als ich das Lied eben zum ersten Mal gehört hab?! Eigentlich ist das gar nicht mein Musikgeschmack, aber dieses Lied ist so unfassbar einzigartig und berührt irgendwas ganz tief in mir. Das geht echt tief unter die Haut. Kein Plan warum. Und normalerweise heul ich echt NIE xD Lol. Es ist iwie so verletzlich und gleichzeitig hats son total Psycho-mäßiges Element. Iwie resigniert im Wahnsinn, so kommts bei mir an und das berührt sehr viel in mir. Ganz ganz großartiges Lied, das ist wirkliche Kunst und obwohl ich die ganze Zeit für Lord of the Lost war, denke ich jetzt, wo ich dieses Lied gehört hab, dass Anica es noch mehr verdient hätte. Dieses Lied ist auf jeden Fall so viel besonderer als Blood and Glitter, aber ich schätze, beim ESC vlt nicht so am richtigen Platz. Wenn die Leute eine Perfomance nach der anderen sehen und keine Zeit haben, groß auf die Songs einzulassen oder darüber nachzudenken, sich da reinzufühlen. Da sind wsl Songs besser, die einem direkt und unmissverständlich ins Gesicht springen, sozusagen. Dieses Lied ist was für Denker, die auch mal über den Tellerrand schauen und Einfühlungsvermögen und Fantasie haben. Nichts für die platte Mehrheit.

Kenne mich jetzt nicht so gut aus, aber auf einer musikalischen Ebene ist das definitiv das beste Lied, der Aufbau ist genial. Die Stimme passt extremst gut zum Lied/ der Druck auf der Stimme führt irgendwie dazu dass die Stimme irgendwie unterliegend highpitched; sehr "kindlich" klingt und mit dem dunklen Thema ist das irgendwie ein cooler Mix. Ich mags, ich freue mich sehr falls das Lied auf der ESC Bühne vorgeführt wird.

Die englische Version gefällt mir ja schon richtig gut, aber diese märchenhaften, düster-romantischen Vibes würden in Deutscher Sprache noch viel intensiver und krasser rüberkommen - viele internationale Musiker benutzen ihre Landessprache, wenn es an die mystischen Wurzeln ihrer Kultur geht. Das Motiv Märchen bietet sich dafür natürlich an - gebettet auf Efeu und Rosen - das ist volles Pfund Deutsche Romantik. Kann man sich schon mal trauen, oder?

This song is like Lana del Rey video games. What an amazing song from Germany. 12 points from France to Germany
dir, Patty, Rene, Trong und Lord of the Lost wünsche ich am meisten sehr viel Glück. Ich denke dass am meisten ihr 5 Acts das Rennen machen werdet. Bin mir sicher dass die Live Performance recht märchenhaft dargestellt wird. Eine mit Pflanzen verzierte Ecke, wo du erst auf einem Stein liegst, aufstehst und ab der 2.Strophe etwas über der Bühne spazierst. Dann die Bridge, wo du seitlich gerichtet bist und ab dem Schrei über die LED Wand (wenn vorhanden) hinter dir Flügel ausbreiten. Und der Schluss beginnt vor einem Spiegel, schaust dir selbst in die Augen. Dann für die letzten 4 Strophen richtest du dich wieder zum Publikum.
Bin echt gespannt.
Mit einem tollen Staging wirst du beim ESC strahlen❤

Mein absoluter Favorit beim Vorentscheid. Der Song trifft nicht nur meinen Geschmack sehr gut, sondern wird auch beim ESC herausstechen, hat ebenfalls sehr viel Potenzial für ein richtig geniales Staging.
Concrete Heart ist auch ein guter Song, aber einfach zu normal und poppig.
Melodies of Hope finde ich bissl overrated, ich finde den einfach zu ESC stereotypisch.

Meine Güte ist das schwierig dieses Jahr. Once upon a dream ist fantastisch und auch für den ESC wäre das total geeignet. Ich glaube dieses Jahr kommt alles auf diese 3 Minuten Staging an. Wenn das hier richtig inszeniert wird, definitiv das Dark Horse mit Chancen. Dazu MUSS das aber wie ein verzauberter Alice in Wonderland Film wirken und die Knalleffekte richtig auskosten. Ich drücke ganz fest die Daumen.
