    --------------------------------
    UPDATE: One of the viewers in the comments gave a tip that helped fix the laptop. Part 2 will be posted later today. I keep mentioning that we have one of the best communities on RUclips. I read all comments and I have fixed many devices that were otherwise deemed a no fix because of viewers suggestions and interactions. You only stop learning when you think you know it all. I'm not afraid to post no fixes and viewers are always ready to give and learn.

    I think the bench and the tools set the scene and the feel of the videos. I usually wouldnt comment on something so trivial but I agree with those that like the old camera angle.
    It adds to the atmosphere and doesnt take away. Those are the tools of the trade.

    Knowledge is the key factor in your channel, Alex. Also the consistency of the content. Camera angles are the secondary things, not so important, but to be honest this older layout I prefer better. It gives a sense of presence to the viewers. And I also noticed a significant increase in video quality. Greetings from Lithuania.

Excellent knowledge of what causes the short circuit is a big bonus for you that seems to be something learned only through experience with troubleshooting faults. Nice work and excellent diagnostic skills.. Thank you for sharing this with everyone.
    PS: Your camera angles are fine. I haven't seen anything to complain about. All of the diagnostic and work can be seen clearly. Anyone complaining will likely never quit complaining, so I wouldn't pander to them if it were me posting the videos.

    You said it all eloquently what I tried to say in your previous video. You cannot stop the world from complaining and that is true. I used to work in the health care sector. Our commissioners judged our performance on the amount of complaints and incidents we received and the improvement we made from them. If we did not have complaints or incidents that would mean we are not performing well as we have no way of showing our improvements and learning lessons. It was all about customer satisfaction. Crazy right!

    I didn't notice any 'lag' this time around. From what I remember from film class, the fps number needs to be divisible by the actual refresh rate to not have choppiness issues. Aka 30 goes into 60 = smooth, 24 does not go into 60 cleanly. And so once youtube does their back end processing your 24 fps thing being stretched to a 30/60fps product gets distorted.

You find the same quality (and it is a quality) in service technichians in a myriad of fields. Doctors are even that way except they work on people . At your age you have been bit by hubris enough to be mindful of it. It helps you so much when things don't go your way . Do not be shy about who and what you are and I don't think you do. I know what a mosfet does, but why so many? are they in series? are they different voltages?

    • @xxycom8963
      @xxycom8963 Год назад +1

      Yes, different voltages. They are not in series, but pairs. Think of audio push-pull stages. That is MOSFETs for V-Core, for GPU, the 3.5 and 5-volt pairs from the charger control circuit, as well as pairs for memory. Of course there are also non-paired MOSFETs which are for protection, or path switching.
      UPDATE: In this case as another user Michael Black points out, and as Alex confirms in a 24 hour later video, the MOSFETs are in parallel, for supplying more current. Unusual in laptop cases, but not uncommon in large power systems circuits.
