- Here is a futuristic luxury home that I made in 3D, with a really nice pool area, and a gorgeous view of a futuristic city backdrop sci-fi luxury home with a beautiful swimming pool with a soothing waterfall.
There is a police chase at the very beginning but after that it's just you and the pool.
I was unsure about the police chase at the start as I guess that's not very relaxing but just liked the idea and it looked cool, so went with it. If I make a live version then I'll likely lose the police in that version.

Tech Stuff:
I do not use AI to generate any part of my scenes, in whole or in part. My scenes are made using Unreal Engine and edited in Davinci Resolve, After Effects or Premiere, but I don't use AI and my scenes are made by a real person. Many many days of work go into each video that I make, sometimes weeks or months, this was made and rendered in Unreal Engine 5 using my own game industry experience and professional knowledge. My audio is mostly recorded using a MixPre 6 II and EM272 Stereo mics.

Hey everyone, in case you're wondering, the police chase only happens at the very beginning, call it an intro to this little part of the world. The ship being chased is a MK5 Electron, a fairly boring but super fast ship aimed at the super rich for travelling between worlds, think of it as a Rolls Royce of flying cars, the above chase is what happens when youngers get hold of them 😅 Its also advertised in the city view in the backdrop, and is also advertised in one of my older sci-fi scenes too 😉
I was waiting for the event to repeat for minutes but then I came to the comments 🤣👍

@@KendoOCE A few of my scenes have little intros now, it’s me wanting to make things more interesting occasionally. I won’t always do them, but if I want to add more life to the scene I’ll do things like that. I also really enjoy making them.

All of my futuristic scenes are connected and exist in the same universe together, probably a bit much when making ambiences, but I love that world building aspect of it! 🙂🙏

It will be a sad day when I reach the age of 100 and all of this exists and I'll be thinking like, man I was born in the wrong era. I just hope they have de-aging machines by then so I can enjoy this.

Hey there 👋 I’ve spoken about this with some of my game dev friends. We discussed what could be done to get it running in realtime on a quest, but I think the general feeling we had is that this is too expensive for a Quest and wouldn’t run at a decent frame rate, so it would need a huge amount of work to get it working on the Quest, but it is something that I think oneday I could try and see how it goes, as I would very much like these to be realtime scenes you could spend sometime in 👍 So for sure I’d love to in the future, if I get enough time to optimise the scene and upload it to the Quest 👍

Technology having the ability to teach us instead of humans gives humans an obvious break and chance at unlimited tutors can even do it for us entirely but it's makes sure teachers don't get entrusted falsely or encouraged to nit teach students there's a robot for that - willy 0
You need even more education system upgrades because robots literally nit including drones or anything else but it's all all all there just cuz robots and the million other upgrades that require way less humans education system upgrades to work to begin with - willy 0

The atmosphere is awesome. The idea elegant. Many folks take up other endeavors as a replacement for their true calling. I have no doubt that game design came as an outlet for architectural design. This could be an example for an IRL concept that is part of a portfolio as an architect. Have you ever gotten over not taking that last architectural class 😊
Thank you!! Funnily enough I studied Computer Aided Design at college, and it was the entire reason I studied there, as I wanted to get into architectural design. But the college I was studying at stopped the CAD classes half way through my course! So I had to pivot and go into engineering instead, which I really didn't enjoy, and that was one of the main reasons why took an Animation degree came later down the line, and then ended up in games for twenty years 🙂 But you are definitely right, I often wondered what I'd be doing if they hadn't stopped those CAD classes. 😅Thanks again

Beautiful. I would add: more of a "hum" of collective white noise from the traffic. Big cities are louder and all the cars in the deep background would not be so quiet as in this video. Just trying to be constructive.

I absolutely love cyberpunk style! We have leds, silver, black, white decor & slowly trying to get our place to have this ambiance!
If it helps there are not that many lights in the house, it’s mainly reflected heavily by building surface. It’s a very metallic, kind of brushed aluminium material, and the inside of the building has a lot of warm wood tones to give it warmth 👍

This is high-quality stuff. Do you also use ray tracing for the reflections ? To my eye, those reflections are so clean and precise that they don’t seem to be rendered as screen-space reflections
Hi 👋 I use Lumen reflections currently. I used to use Ray Tracing but found it unreliable when it came to transparency so Lumen was quite a nice relief 👍 Lumen also has huge drawbacks but it’s the best option unless I choose to use Path Tracing, which I might swap to later on, it just takes far too long to render Path Tracing which is why I don’t use that right now.

Ambient, i have a question, is your last futuristic balcony video in the same city as this one? like different locations, maybe if you do another futureistic city build with rain but this one or the pool in the point of view, Like the main video is in a medium futuristic building and its raining hard and in the pov, there is this house or the pool?
Hi 👋 They absolutely exist in the same ‘Universe’. The car being chased in this scene is the same one in the rainy cave on an alien world scene. That flying car is also advertised in the background in my rooftop pool cyberpunk city also 👍 They’re different cities though, the rainy cave in an alien planet is also on a different planet to these, but it’s the same Universe. Even my Dumpster Fire for 2022 is connected to these 👍 And the balcony scene is on the same planet as this one 👍
This gives me an urge to start up Cities Skylines, download a bunch of sci-fi mods and try to create a megatropolis like this one lol

I've seen a lot of your work on Wallpaper Engine (I assume uploaded without permission, which is quite sad. I hope you can combat it in some way) and I am _amazed_ with the quality of the things you make, to say the least. My favorites have to be the luxury apartments, I love how nighttime cities look! And the way you seem to connect everything you do together, creating a small world inside of all of the renders... Going out of my way to add some extra worldbuilding is one of my favorite pastimes!
I couldn't just sit idly by and not give any thanks for spending so many days of your time to create these astounding renders. They provide so much relaxation, and that one good feeling you get when seeing so many twinkling lights...
I've recently gotten that sporadic burst of motivation; you probably know the type- and I'm thinking of trying my hand at making something similar to what you do. If I end up making that a hobby, you'll always be my main inspiration. Keep doing what you do!
P.S. Do you make everything purely in Unreal Engine, or is some other program like Blender used? (I'm aware Unreal is a game engine, but is it used for rendering as well?)
Thank you 👍 I use a few different programs, 3DSMax, Blender, Substance Painter, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, Preniere and of course Unreal Engine 👍 I see a lot on wallpaper engine and it is hard to keep up with my work being taken without my permission so often, not just on there but on all social media platforms, it was becoming a full time job just tracking them 😞

Cheers Mat. So there is one pool sitting within and above the lower pool, the above pool flows out the lower parts of the edging into the lower section. And from behind the camera, which you cannot see, is a waterfall flowing down from the mountain side into a pool below which then overflows over the rocks into the lower section of the pool.

Hi AR - I’m curious: Have you ever experimented with making shorter depth-mapped Side-by-Side 3D versions of your renders? I think that many of your external-view renders like this Cyberpunk one would make really great “picture windows” in Mixed Reality.
Later this year, Meta will release an “Augments” feature that allows their Quest VR headset users to pin objects and videos around their home, which they’ll be able to see projected into their own rooms like real-life objects. I believe Apple has a version of this feature too.
I could easily see VR headset users using depth-mapped 3D versions of your videos as floor-to-ceiling holographic windows projected onto their blank wall. It would be like having a portal to another dimension.

This would have been perfect if it were rendered at 60fps natively. Lucky for me, I can use Lossless Scaling to generate the frame to 60fps. The difference is mind boggling
