  • Before I begin, I want everyone to know that I am not being compensated for posting this RUclips. I just want to share what a miracle this has been for our family. And now that the dogs don't yap and bark as much (if at all,) they seem calmer. Now, we don't have to use the collars much. They know that when we say, "No bark. Collar," they obey.
    I love my puppies and want to share that love. Bella is my 4.5 pound Yorkie. Sailor my sweet and hyperactive Aussie and Scout is my lovely but slightly neurotic mini-Aussie. Enjoy! PLEASE HIT SUBSCRIBE FOR THIS BRAND NEW CHANNEL!

    I believe these collars are great for certain applications. I have a huge yard and my lab barks in the back corner of the yard at the Deer and the Turkey buzzards that also roost there. The worst is when he does this in the dark when I let him out in the evening. A spray collar will work to suppress the urge to bark at times and locations you can NOT actively correct your dog. As far as stopping the barking indoors where you are near your dog to correct them that is different. I would never want my dog to have a reaction of not barking while in the home for protection purposes. I would only use the collar when the dog is outside and I am not with him. I plan to get a collar like this and try it out for this purpose.

      You're the type who let's their dog bark all day long while you're away and annoy people working night-shift who need to sleep. Just because someone prohably won't ever rob you but you want to make sure 🙄

    • @genmysters
      @genmysters Год назад +1

      @@CannabrannaLammer I am the "TYPE". What a KAREN. ok Karen. You assume I left my dog home alone to bark because you are a KAREN and cant think past things. I work from home and my dog especially during COVID (2 Years AGO) never left my side his entire life inside the home. He barked inside the house when someone approached my property day or night and there is nothing wrong with that. This is a dog's natural response is to protect the home. I assume KAREN you failed to pay attention to the premise of my post that I made "2" years ago. I intended to use the device and I did use it I purchased it. For the purpose of keeping my dog who barked at things he saw outside "IN THE DARK" This was to keep him from barking at night mostly when he was let out in the evening. For the people you are defending who are "ANNOYED" because they work during the evening and are sleeping during the day, that is your problem. Nobody is breaking any noise ordinance by their dog barking when the sun is up. So if I were you I would stick to something you know like ASMR and unboxing garbage on the internet.

    Your funny and your dogs are so cute! My border collie dog out-barks all of yours combined but I’m really hoping this device works for us. I deliver food for a living and every time I stop the car and start to climb out, she bark bark bark bark bark bark bark barks. I usually have a spray bottle of water and threaten to “spray” and then treat if she follows through quietly with “no talking”,
    but I really hate the threaten tactic. I noticed, barking control has brought the overall hyper behavior to a minimum in your house. Thanks for the review.

    You know what I am thinking? This should be used on a pitibull because if a pitibul attacks somebody, this would spray, because you don't see dogs attacking without making noise growling and barking. I have never seen dog attacking and it's silent. So this might prevent you being attacked by a pitibull or other vicious dogs if using this thing.

    • @NikkieRoxxx
      @NikkieRoxxx 3 года назад +4

      still, it sprays citronella. The dogs hate the smell and the "swoosh' of the spray surprises them in an unwelcome way. One day, your dog might want to to bark to tell you something VERY important, i.e. a fire starting in the kitchen while you are yakking on hte phone, or a theif breaking in at night, or granny having a heart attack in her rocking chair; and they will not 'dare' to bark... :( Also, on dogs whose barking gets stifled, with a collar or surgery, have a very high cortisol (stress hormone) level. Teach your dog to stop barking after 2-3 times saying ' thank you!!' and offering them a treat when they are quiet for 3 seconds like Victoria Stillwell does... sounds more humane.

    Do not!!!! Use these they damage your loving pets sense of smell!!!!!!!!!its cruel and if you truely love your pet don’t use !!!the best bark deterant is a beeper that distracts them when barking works much better and safier

    • @NikkieRoxxx
      @NikkieRoxxx 4 года назад +7

      a beeper makes some dogs 'howl' because it hurts their ears. Citronnela spray smells horrible for a dog, and that little jet of the spray on their face/nose is just what they need... its not dangerous for dogs.

    • @Nookie15
      @Nookie15 3 года назад

      Actually the one i got is one powered by u and its nit ear damaging its not high freqyency just enough to catch their attention and trains them to odedience i just say sound and ge looks snd stops the beeper is nit beeded after two weeks

      EDIT: I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID----> The dogs hate the smell and the "swoosh' of the spray surprises them in an unwelcome way. @@NikkieRoxxx thats the point... its supposed to surprise them when they bark so they can stop. But why would anyone just put it on them every single day? I see this collar to train your dog better when around people and only people. Your telling me you would put this on your dog all day? You should only put it on your dog when they bark or when its off just tell the the word "collar" so they stop barking.

    That’s terrific, ma’am.
    One thing I would suggest, these fluffy friends of ours are creatures of habit, so if you would rebuke them when they charge around the house and jump on the couch as soon as you let Sailor in, that’s as good as a collar. So a person could save money and just use their voice as a disciplinary tool.

      What if it was used only for walks? My dog hardly ever barks in the house and when he does I don't mind, but he's a nightmare barking when we get outside for walks and we live in an apartment complex around a lot of people and it's stressful, I've tried everything for over a year to stop his barking at people, dogs, sounds, ect. So, does it depend on the situation of which it is being used? Cause honestly at this point I'm willing to try anything that doesn't actually hurt him

    I'd suggest you think twice about getting dogs, they are your first defense to let you know something is array, these do not look like on going barkers in the first place, Control over your animals is a weakness you have interacting with people you cannot suppress therefore lets take it out on the family pets.
