- Hello and welcome to my first main episode of my new dressmaking and sewing vlog and I really hope that enjoy it.
Today I'm sharing recent makes, including the Cielo Top and Dress pattern by Closet Core Patterns. Plus the Patina Blouse pattern by Friday Pattern Company, plus fabrics for upcoming makes. I'll also be showing you my new Dressmaking Dummy, which I've purchased with the plan for fitting my own trousers.

I have made the Cielo dress 4 times(2 for me, 1 for each of my daughters), it is definitely one of my favorite patterns. the red is lovely!
I’m so pleased I have found your blog. I have the same problems with sizing and buying ready made clothes. I’m only 5’2” but have a larger bust. I’m quite new to dressmaking and always try to buy patterns that have a fb option. Please keep bringing your vlogs. Xx
Yes ! Make the dress😅 love that fabric. Debbie here, as FPC have sale on I am going to buy the Patina. I do have a very similar pattern but has a grown on sleeve which I have made many times. Hi Wendy, how lovely to find you at the start of your channel! I would love it if you could do a sew along for the toddler shirt as I’m new to making such tiny things and could use something to give me a bit of courage. I’ve found that come of the toddler patterns sizing is a bit hit and miss, I made some PJs for my 2 year old grandson and they were massive on him, he’s not small for his age at all. It would be so nice to have some tips from someone with so much experience.
