We go to Costa Rica every two year to visit family. They took us to their farm in the mountains. Since it is very cool in the Rain Forest, the houses are open and with out AC. The bedrooms were all full and I picked the living room to sleep. Around 3am I woke up to a noise. I grabbed the flashlight and found a giant bat was in the living room trying to get out the one window which was open. It flew back and forth over me a few dozen times freaking me out. I was trying to keep quiet but eventually screamed at it to get out the door, which I had just opened. Of course, after it flew out, every one came out of the bedrooms complaining I was making too much noise. When I told them about the bat they did not believe me.
