Wouldn’t be a Husker game without a little bit of rising blood pressure to unsafe levels. Hard to believe our last win was against Northwestern 56-7 last year 7 losses ago.
Crazy to think for sure. Everyone of those games a 1 score difference. Imagine if we won a few of those, I really wonder if they would talk differently on Frost. Literally 1-2 mistakes were the difference in those games and against ranked teams as well.
Not with the coach you had.he had substance abuse issues probably still does late to practice hiring people of zero experience to try to get recruits I hope he gets the help he needs

grew up going to games with my dad. remember if we got all our chores done on the farm he'd take us into the city and we'd scalp some nose bleeds. can't believe what's become of this program. we didn't have much but we always had the huskers...sad to see what's happening to this once great program.
Nebraska is ranked #24 in total team talent (ahead of Wisconsin, Arkansas, Kentucky, Utah, Michigan St., and Iowa) which is very good considering the lack of success of the past couple of seasons, IMO. So, Frost and Co. have done a good job of bringing in talent for this season. Grant is a stud muffin and he saved the day. Super exciting runner - a true game breaker. It was good to see them win by double digits even against lower competition. I hope they keep improving over the coming weeks.
Very well played North Dakota, you guys did not disappoint your fans. As for us, another heart attack game, but at least we get the win

Wow, a real nail-biter. Only won by 21 points. Whew.
After browsing the comments, it's clear to me that there are multiple issues at play with Nebraska's losing seasons. We as fans play a part. How do you think it affects morale when players are eviscerated publicly over mistakes that anybody could make, by the people that are supposed to be their fans? And if we continue to hire and fire coaches after a couple of bad seasons, there will never be an opportunity to truly rebuild. Instant gratification is appealing, but impractical.

@@ivand5670 with all due respect, as a fan myself, too many husker fanatics are stuck in the 90s. Then to go from Bo who isn't a people person that I believe should be a requirement, is part of why he was fired. Yes he got the defense squared away, but he's better at defense then at H.C. then we go from a hole to pasafist riley smiled more than any coach I can think of. In my opinion Frost needed 3 more seasons at UCF. but here they are.
The multiple firings of head coaches definitely keeps solid recruiting down. This season might be better. Hopefully this season turns out better.
I'm hoping that NEBRASKA WILL GO TO A WINNING STREAK. LOOSING SO MANY GAMES WAS A SOURCE OF HEARTACHES FOR THE TEAM, THE COACHES (ESPECIALLY COACH FROST) THE FANS AND MY GRANDSON. I tend to agree with some of the comments about stopping the head coach carousel. I don't have the answers, but I feel that wouldn't help.

The Dakota team is still under improvement...
Our offensive line is so bad.. If they were better our team would be so much better. The fact ND tied us in the 3rd says so much about our season. We need to figure things out or it's a losing season.
And North Dakota has 22 less scholarship athletes and aren't even ranked in the FCS top 25 lol.

You guys got Georgia Southern next which we dominated our FCS opponent 59-7 and haven't allowed one offensive TD all game. We did our domination through the air for the first time in 40 years. The triple option is basically history.

LB play and tackling overall is just atrocious. Chins was completely out coached by ND and couldn't get them off the field for offense to get into a rhythm. His group needs to be held accountable..
Of course I never excuse a turnover but now looking back, the linebacker was smart and hid behind the ref on that INT. He came out right at the right moment.
Also noticed that Benhart can’t be fully blamed for the sacks, but he chose the wrong player to double on both blocks, making it harder on the other linemen.

Worst offensive line and defensive line in Husker history. We fell off when they got rid of Frank.
Scott Frost can't lose 2 games at all this year. Nebraska has to go at least 11-1 or 10-2 but that's it. I think the Big 10 is too tough for Nebraska.

Liewer grabbing the ball on that punt is one of the stupidest plays in the last 5 seasons, and there have been a LOT of stupid plays. Just a few seconds earlier he's waving people off, and then he walks up and grabs the ball before the whistle blows. Just a low IQ play.

@@JPBADD7549 he played a half of football… and they didn’t need him to throw because they were up 34-0 to nothing!! Also South Dakota isnt a pushover at all they are one of the better fcs schools. Plus Adrian Martinez is a lot better when the pressure isn’t put all on him to move the ball and score points. Kstate has one of if not the best running back in college they don’t need Adrian to do everything

Lol, why? They’re a mid-tier FCS team. FCS literally has different rules regarding scholarships and none of the huge TV dollars. They shouldn’t be able to hang with a P5 team for one quarter let alone three. The real embarrassment is Nebraska 😂😂
