    Just an update,
I am Chayancze's older sister. For all of you that have made fun of him on here for being small, short, "not enough swag", and unmotivated, you are sadly mistaking. He is the most passionate kid I know. No one wants it more than him. Even though I am older than him, he inspires me everyday. He makes me want to work harder, be a better person, and always smile and try my best. (Of course we fight like cats and dogs, but I know he's always on my team in the end)
To those of you who said he would never make it, he is playing baseball on a scholarship as a Sophomore at Iowa Wesleyan College as the starting second basemen. More importantly, he's going to school to be a teacher, to help kids be the best that they can be. In my opinion, there is no one better for the job. This March we will go see him during his Spring training in Florida.
I know that he loves his supporters, and all of the positive calls and comments. But regardless, I'm proud of my brother and the baseball player, and person he turned out to be!

You said we are sadly mistaken for calling him short and saying he has no swag but then you dont back up why we are mistaken, you just go on to say he works hard. Hes posing for the camera every shot. The convo before the groundball probably went a little like this: " hey dad can we do some grounders?" "Sure son lemme just get my b..." "No dad just roll them to me, really softly and make sure to get it in the cameras view"

Three things to be successful as a college player:
    1. Good grades - you got that covered.
    2. Character and how you conduct yourself as a person - with social media, everybody is watching.
    3. Talent and ability.
If I were a college coach, you're the kind of kid I'd want on my team.

Baseball was my life until my high school crushed my dreams by not letting me play because my Math grades were below a C grade in freshman year. I ended up passing that year and tried the next year and they denied me playing that year as well because I didn't play the previous year. Seeing videos like this makes me burst into tears.

I'm one of those kids who has been told by multiple coaches and trainers, I can be used on Varsity, yet I'm kept on JV. I work every single day in practice 6/7 days a week. My head coaches have me competing against seniors in everything I do because no matter how tired I get, I do not give up. Watching this video just inspires me, and many other kids competing for a spot to continue working. Thank you.

I gave me all to football got to college wish I chose baseball because I was better at it... but for fotballl 8th grade i lifted and ran even on xmas break and spring break and summers while people had aau baseball, i was in our summer program... left high school stronger and bigger than most grown men.

Being a football player I had to run lots to make it, thats one thing baseball players dont do, they dont run sprints enough... at the division 1 football program i was in our baseball players could not keep up with our program or conditions test is 6 gassers for my positions all 32 seconds.... in the nfl u have to run 9... the steelers run 9 gassers in like 28 seconds

Let me tell you my story (not wanting to steal the spotlight). I am a 70-year old retired teacher who loves baseball. I worked in Asia, trying to introduce students to the sport. Some support from my school. But also some criticism. I tried to inspire my students through my own efforts. Run everyday, baseball-oriented weight training, drills, etc. Just love working out. Think readers will get the idea. Always hoping something would click. Some people think I am immature or crazy, but I don't care.

I forgot how much I loved it when those inspirational speakers say that you don't want it enough. Like they know how much we want it. It's true that some people aren't the hardest of workers. However there are some who want it really bad more than anything else but find it to be an inconvenience to want it more than sleep. I am almost certain that most if not all successful professional athletes cherish sleep more than success because it will be very difficult to accomplish anything without it. So to those speakers who say that we don't want it enough, understand that we do but we value our lives and our safety as well.

I Just got cut from my 2nd day tryout at my highschool. I'm a freshman and this inspired me to practice and work hard before time instead of procrastinating. I understand now how bad it feels to be cut from a team you really wanted to be on. I had my hopes up very high, and now I regret not doing the things I should have done both at tryouts and when I have time to practice. I told my coaches as they cut me that I would be back again next year to tryout for the Junior Varsity team, and that they would see me like never before. Then I shook their hands and said "goodbye, I will see you first thing next year". My biggest weaknesses are procrastination and to overthink things. I know that everyone has their weaknesses, but you cannot let those stop you. Don't procrastinate and give it your all. This goes out to all athletes, no matter what sport. Good luck to all of you trying out for a sport l, and God bless you!
