yes theres a lot about him, special, thats how he went up so quick and we all love his videos, i remember watching him when he had like 40k subscribers, same quality same charm, same lovely videos.
Ordering for the robotic arms... the info is right in front of you in red for the items you are trying to order. When you click the order parts, each part takes up volume. The arm can only support up to 6.00 for things it will install. If the item is too big (lots of fenders, wheels etc), you can have a separate station take care of it or add more arms on that station.
21:14 huh when you moved the trees the red warning nearby went away, then at 21:44 you can see the red warning icon at the gate was also gone. I think the tree was blocking a factory exit, not the lot exit. So you can put those parking spots back.
Hey Grill, so the reason that you needed to place a second order on things in the automated factory is because of space in the robotic arm. It has a space of 5.75 and it used it. One way to sort this is to adjust what gets done in each section, another would be to add a second arm, or possibly you just upgrade to the max amount production line and this way each arm is doing less anyway, Also, if you are going full auto, why are you hiring more mechanics?? Build more arms, LOL

If you want to optimize the production line, just keep the length of time working even between zones. If balanced properly(the amount of time the vehicle is at a station, not the number of parts installed at a station), it’ll eliminate the stack up when going from the first assembly box to the second. Then the third is faster than the second.
When your repair facility isn't busy reparing poor quality cars, send the decent quality ones. Make them all excellent quality.
Equalizing the amount of time each station takes would help your line speed a lot. No station should have to wait on the next one to finish.
Loving this series, you’re making the most money I have seen anyone make, good choices in research.
The reason some of your automatic productions still needed a workers is because of the storage limit on the robots, you can adjust the orders to limit what it can do (like force a robot to only install handbrakes) and set its limit to the max (which is 6 volume) you can install 4 robots per side... you can see where this is going. Super fast production with no pauses.
Hey grills, I don't think the transporters can cross the production lines, so your robotic assembly line in the middle, they have to walk all the way around, put a door in between each line in the front of the building
I think advertising a car before making it or building would be good. So when you do decide to build it it’ll have a lot of popularity
make sure the cars are always excellent otherwise the markup is too high. speeds up reputation too.
6:02 - I've done it, and it helps considerably. It greatly reduces the number of mechanics you need, because right now your mechanics spend a ton of time walking back and forth. I don't just put one for each assembly line. I put a storage area to the side of each station on the assembly line. In your case here, one between like that would probably be fine, since you only have two stations, but if you had three or four, then they're walking too far again. The more they walk, the less they hammer. Once you get it set up nicely, then you can assign some mechanics to each assembly line, so they don't keep walking all over the factory floor by switching between assembly lines.
Having robotic lines so early reminds me of when I played Urban Empries and I would be decades ahead in technology. One can mess with it enough that one may even have modern computers in the Victorian era.

Didn't have to expand the parking lot size. Just turn spaces around facing out and add spaces to opposite side facing out.

The boxing bag is a training item used to level up your mechanics. You have to select a mechanic and click the box to send them to training. Same goes for the training items for the transporters and salesmen.

Surely there's an option with the quality control station to set a threshold, if the car is below a quality you determine it automatically gets sent to the repair shop...

The factory door was blocked because the door from repair shop was blocked by a tree. As soon as you moved the tree, the red dot on front gate disappeared

Why not have a long production line instead of 2 small lines?
Can you put the robot arms sideways? That way they'd only have to move once instead of twice to get the parts from the bin to the car?
