- Basketball shooting form hand placement can change up your entire form! Get your elbow in with this shooting drill breakdown. Elbow in is often emphasized as a staple of basketball shooting tips, however this small adjustment can help make that process easier. Generally when i would shoot, as I elevated on a jumper, my elbow would get close to being in which is why It has worked for me.
Previously, I have tried changing it to an extent however trying this method out for a few weeks, I find it easier for my elbow to go in, and much more relaxed when shooting. This basketball shooting tip has definitely helped! What did you guys think of the before & after??

Brilliant production as per usual. I'm excited to use this. I totally grip the ball in an L shape. I can see the subtle difference. What are your thoughts with the loose grip on a FIBA ball with extra grooves?
I did the same for a while but definitly found that my elbow was able to come in much smoother when I started not to! The FIBA ball I actually like quite a bit, because you can see the rotation of it so clearly as well and even with its grip, you get used to the ball fairly fast

ive been practicing the widegrip for many years using index finger release, since relaxing my hands more I find middle finger release to have improved my shot dramatically. Any thoughts on this?
I have some ability too shoot the ball, but my thumb is spread in a death grip on the ball and it causes lots of tension. How long did it take you to have a more relaxed thumb/grip?
