Gees buttons can be real my Great grandmother got me interested at 5 go her antique button
.1 of her buttons sold for over 1k rarity & condition. Had to sell that for my kids after the divorce the kids had my old button collection appraised was over $ 25k they split them believe giving Family things ahead for them to enjoy and know history of their whole family.
Salsa is you inventory inspector!! So cute. Can never have enough buttons! I remember my mother And grandmother cutting buttons off clothes and then the clothes became rags. Never throw out what you can use!
You got a great deal on those buttons! The tins alone are worth a dollar each and buttons are very popular with collectors and crafters. I am surprised they were still there after 3 days. I am glad you picked up some of those garage sale leftovers. I am sure Paper and Moose let you know about them because she picked up some stuff also. You two make a good team. Wow what a great day for you! I’d love to find tons of buttons for $1. I’d have taken all those men’s shirts for quilting. And the Barbie country camper, I got one for Christmas in 1971 when I was 10. Played with that thing all the time, ended up giving to the little girl I babysat in high school.
P. S. We had a Honda Civic and hauled half the furniture in our home in it when I was first married, a workhorse!

Salsa is so sweet and nicely behaved. She deserves a full groom.She needs a trim and brush out .Don’t want to get matted it pulls on the skin and hurts.Trim nails and pads she won’t slip as much and bring in as much mud.It will help with the shedding too.☮️

I just left a comment about cookbooks. They are very collectible and I have made some good profits on them.
So did Paper and Moose and I was screaming take the cook book! And I would have taken the big ball for Salsa to play with!

2 Nice axe heads, soon clean and sharpen up, both will need a new handle though. Those bow saws looked good, quicker than axe too. lol. Sets of vintage buttons are very colletable. Loved the green Enamalware .

I do hope you keep Salsas nails trimmed. Its painful for dogs to walk on long nails. Also keep her hair trimmed around her paws.

Back when I was youngster, my mom used to collect buttons, in mason jars...she must have had a dozen jars, full of buttons...always wondered why.
We would sew matching buttons together for Mom. To make it easier to find when she'd be making our clothes/dresses.✌

I am 64 and remember my grandmother sewed a lot and had a large like pickle jar that she had here in( like they had You would buy from at a country store. I have wondered many times what happened to those buttons.
Next time on Taco Stacks.... Button Autopsy lol But seriously what is it about buttons that are so fascinating. I have a Bakelite ones and some vintage Czech glass ones. But I love the Marion Weeber ones. Some day I'll actually come across one.

Those buttons were a great deal. Thrift stores sell small jars of buttons for $4.00 or more. My grandfather had a sharpening wheel. I used to love watching him sharpening axes, mower blades and whatnot.
What about the lid to the cheese, it was on the table, the cookbook was good too.

You should come out to the Quakertown Farmers Market and Flea Market. Hit on a good weather Saturday and there is plenty of people outside selling. Also there is a couple of barns out back as well and vendors are selling lots of good stuff. Stop by my 1 shop and I'll give you a pack of homemade, all natural dog treats for salsa
