On "My Car Story" we're in Phoenix AZ at the Biltmore Hotel for the Arizona Concours d’Elegance on 1-15-17.
We're looking at a 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS Roadster in Black Paint.
We’re talking with the Owner Marco De LaBarrera. Marco’s had this car since 2014. The 120 stands for the cars top speed on 120 mph, and the OTS stands for Open Two Seater. Marco shares he’s a Jaguar Fan and he loves this car. So do I.

You lucky, lucky man! I love the respect you show this beautiful car. Thank you for sharing Marco. God Bless you
What a wonderful comment :-)
I have watched several of Lou's videos over the last few weeks. The cars are gorgeous. I am beginning to also enjoy the owners as part of the story almost as much as the cars.
Hi Carsten, Thank you for watching the Channel, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the stories. Thank you, Lou

Nice 51 Roadster Marco! Beautifully restored. Nice video.

Glad to receive a "WOW" from you NikonToter :-) Lou
I hope he has seen the miss-aligned vertical chrome Grill strip. The gap is rather wider than the other's. This counts in shows of this calibre.

Happy to read you appreciate this car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing.
Those radiator hoses are called "stockingette". MGA's used them too when new. Try and find them now.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge Rob Macenzie, Lou
Beautiful!!
You have great taste in cars Sandor Kovacs.
Hahaha, it goes "120,000 miles per hour". Said it twice as well.
Hi Greg Gregory, I'm sure I've messed up more then a few times on the videos :-) What do you think of the car? Lou
Hi Lou, I was referring to the owner making the comment. Great car and as usual great video production.
Hi Greg Gregory, Ohhh...it's ok, I mess some things up too :-) I've been waiting for the right Jag 120 and this one's like a brand new car. Glad you like the car and think it's great. Me too, Lou
Very Pretty, sexy car. Flawless condition. Thank You! Peter Brooks.
HI Peter Brooks, Agreed, this car shows like it came off the showroom floor. It's amazing, Lou
The spark plug wires run from the back of the cylinder head and under
the carburetors to the distributor instead of the front of the head...where
is the coil?
Hmmm, not sure. Hope a Viewer can share the answer to your question.
Coil is it’s original intended location, mounted on the engine block under the carbs. That’s were I put mine but it overheats and dies, tell it’s cold again. Jaguar moved it too between the carbs on a custom made bracket. Works fine now.
I'm not a fan of white walls they tend to put on cars in US but other than she's an absolute beauty.
Hi paul Assidon, Glad to read (other than the white walls) you enjoy the looks of this car :-) Hope you see many more cars on this RUclips Channel you'll enjoy, Lou
The appearance of the xk120s is especially enhanced by the light rubber wall. But also for the XJ-6 and 12s, a thin white strip around the rim causes a spectacular optical improvement . But this is also true of the much newer Rolls Royce Phantom VII Coupe and Drophead.
To each his own, but those white-walls look ridiculous.
Hi Bill, Clearly these white walls are not for you :-( Hope you see many more cars on this RUclips Channel you'll enjoy :-) Lou
White wall tyres are a typical US american whim, but not suitable for the grace of an old british car !

SPEECHLESS
Well said :-)
Love that car but those whitewalls - ugleeeeee. Makes it into a pimpmobile.
Hi Allan, Car = :-) Whitewalls = :-( Lou
I like the whitewalls. I tried to picture it without them and it would just be too much black.
