After this case was re-aired, a viewer spotted Larry fishing along the banks of the Christina River in Wilmington, Delaware. Three days later, two detectives went there undercover and began talking with him about fishing. When he went to show them his fishing poles, one identified himself as a police officer. At this point, a struggle ensued between them and Larry. They eventually threw him in the river, and as he tried to flee downstream, he was arrested.
When authorities went to investigate Larry's campsite, they found a makeshift bunker. It had a generator, heater, television, and stove. They also found several weapons including a spear gun and a sawed-off shotgun. This led them to believe that he would have resisted arrest under other circumstances. On April 27, 1994, he was extradited to Alabama to face murder and attempted murder charges. He was later convicted of both capital and attempted murder and sentenced to death in the electric chair. He remains on death row, awaiting execution.

I agree. I honestly think Farina IS great but it's just... no one could really hold up to Stack. I also think one thing that hurts Farina is that all of the UM segments he covers were already covered years ago by Stack. Not Farina's fault there to be fair though

Thanks to tips from two viewers, Bell was arrested in Panama City, Panama on February 14, 1993. At the time, he was prospecting for gold on land that he owned. According to one of the viewers, he had lived there for about ten years. He was extradited back to the United States to face first-degree murder charges. He was convicted and sentenced to seventy years in prison. He was eligible for parole in January 2013 but was denied. On April 20, 2019, he died in prison from undisclosed causes at age 82.
Bell is currently considered a suspect in several murders in the 1970s, including those of Rhonda Johnson and Sharon Shaw. He has given multiple chilling confessions from prison, eventually claiming in 2011 that he was actually responsible for eleven murders, calling the victims were the "eleven that went to heaven." He claims a brainwashing "program" forced him to "be a flasher" to "rape girls" and ultimately to kill them. After his death, many of the victims' relatives stated that they believed he was responsible for their deaths. However, no charges were ever filed against him in those cases.
Sadly, Dorothy passed away in 2012.

      They all are.
The Dennis Farina reboot were all old Stack segments only with a higher resolution, an inferior host (not that Farina was bad, but you just can't follow up Stack) and unneeded special effects... Lost of random flashes and added sound effects and then a replacement of the older suspense music with bad examples of hard rock or metal music music.

Instead of seeing Joe blow drop his ice cream or Ned nobody stub his toe...... it's like people who claim they're reincarnated and remember their past life are always an ancient Egyptian Pharoah or some prehistoric princess instead of just Judy from Minnesota......

I wonder why these people with near death experience tell those stories of outer body experience or seeing tunnels with a shining light in the distance.
I was nearly dead myself last Christmas and it was strange allright..i was seeing people that were not actually there and talking out loud to them...hallucinating in and out but i saw nothing like that at all. The doctors told me if i had arrived in hospital just a few hours later i'd be dead...my bloodflow came to a halt almost and they never found out why.
I was just seeing imaginary doctors, nurses and other people all over...and blabbing at them.
I was shitting and pissing and crying even at some point from the pain but never had that outer body thing happen at all.
It was just very painful and boring really...haha :)

This Version of Unsolved Mysteries is a Complete COPYCAT of the Original Series, Starring Robert Stack ... The Same Cases, using the Same Footage, Same Interviews etc .. the ONLY Thing that is Different, is the Theme Music(which in Turn ... SUCKS!) It doesn't have the Mystery that the Original has. Dennis Farina is also, a Moron, His Voice is not as Deep & Mysterious as Robert Stack's was .. REST in PEACE Robert Stack, You will be Missed ... my Opinion, Watch the Original, & LEAVE this, where it Belongs, in the Trash!!
