  • In this video, we demonstrate how to make a right turn when:
    First Loop
00:00 - Right Turn at Regular Stop Sign
00:37 - Right Turn at Green Light
01:30 - Right Turn with no Stop Sign nor light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
02:00 - Right Turn at T Intersection with no Stop Sign Nor Light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
    Second Loop
02:20 - Right Turn at Regular Stop Sign (Safe steps (creep and peep) at a hard-to-see intersection
03:10 - Right Turn at Red Light (Safe steps to make the turn after the full stop)
04:06 - Right Turn with no Stop Sign nor light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
04:36 - Right Turn at T Intersection with no Stop Sign nor Light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
    Third Loop
04:56 - Right Turn at Regular Stop Sign (Not taking up the crosswalk if pedestrians are about to cross)
06:06 - Right Turn at Red Light (When it's safe to take the crosswalk after a full stop)
07:06 - Right Turn with no Stop Sign nor light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
07:33 - Right Turn at T Intersection with no Stop Sign nor Light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
    Fourth Loop
07:56 - Right Turn at Regular Stop Sign (Inching up slowly after full stop for a better line of sight. Why we shoulder check twice in these types of situations.)
09:24 - Right Turn at Green Light (Paying Attention to Surroundings during a Red Light: i.e. scanning the crosswalk area ahead, checking side before for approaching cyclists) Why we wouldn't want to turn right on a red when the oncoming traffic is getting an advance left turn signal.
11:13 - Right Turn with no Stop Sign nor light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
    Fifth Loop
11:30 - Right Turn at Regular Stop Sign (Initial stop needs to be always behind the stop line)
11:57 - Right Turn at Green Light (Talking about Pedestrian Safety)
13:55 - Right Turn with no Stop Sign nor light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)
14:10 - Right Turn at T Intersection with no Stop Sign nor Light facing you. (Cross road has stop sign)

1:53 I believe you should occupy the bike lane to turn right when the dotted line starts?

What do you do if the lane you’re turning right into is a restricted lane? Do you go there and just immediately change lanes or do you just avoid that lane altogether?

Wait wuh? So you can drive through red lights in USA? What are the rules with lights?

In BC, Canada we are permitted to turn right at a red light once a full stop has been made at the stop line and only when it is safe to proceed, unless prohibited by a sign posted at the intersection.

yeah, in most of USA, drivers can turn right on red when safe, unless there's a sign prohibiting.
