I agree with everyone in here - this is absolutely, in my opinion, the best version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. I have the CD and have heard it many times and the incredible dynamics, excitement and musicality in this interpretation is unparalleled. The atmosphere and sound they possess, seem to capture the essence and soul of Vivaldi's timeless piece.
Why is it whenever I see posts by Il Giardino Armonico they never mention who the violin soloist is? This is a concerto after all. I'm assuming it's Enrico Onofri?
I am sorry to be that guy, but I like Europa Galante's version better. They add more soul to it and they also do ornamentation that can only be learned from extensive research!

This is absolutely the best version of the four seasons I know. 2nd mov. of Spring and 3rd of Summer are absolutely perfect!

Compliment to Giardino Armonico, but i prefer the Europa Galante's version!
