Nice project.i have a few questions relating to the swap. 1 what sump/oil pan did you use. 2 what's the compression ratio. 3 what back axel you using. 4 what gearbox has it got.
Clean job i like it 👍 A word to the wise change that weak oil pressure line try to get the stainless steel braided one i think its around 35$ or something like that because the nylon one like you have always break or leak and it's going to be hell to get that thing cleaned from inside the car not to mention the oil smell so please don't cheap out on this one :) for me i just went to the electric gauge route, and are those exhaust manifold from an ls2 or the truck manifold? Because mine are the truck ones and didn't work specially on the passenger side one of the studs hugs the frame but the driver side can be managed but it also needs some work :(
Stock heads, sent to machine shop for new valves and a valve job. New springs and seals. Stock 5.3, stock cam. 862 heads. Runs great, put around 390 miles on it already, no issues

Question, I have similar setup with msd red box. I'm having backfire when I try to start, eventually it starts though. Did you have similar problem?
I didn’t have any issues. Make sure all of your coils are good. Also make sure your cam and crank sensor are good as well

What trans you use?
700r4
How did the 700r4 trans hold up?
Did you cut out for the the tail lights?
Cut out? What do you mean
@@AKANEWK they look like the 86+ tail lights. The 84 had the 3 square tail lights on each side
@@anthonymunoz1868 taillights are off of a 86
You’re right
Do you have part number for bottom hose ?
I just went in the parts store and found it. I used a metal clothes hanger and bent it and measured it. Took it in and matched it up
What radiator hose is that
Top is the stock hose from a 2001 Silverado, bottom hose is a flex hose from local parts store
What driveshaft did you use?
Stock driveshaft
@@AKANEWK thanks Man!! Your videos simple and understanding where things hooks up to.
