- Made the mistake of shooting with a 2500 base ISO instead of 800. The noise is pretty good although RUclips does a good job of hiding any.
Shot handheld on the FX30 with a Tamron 17-70 + 6 stop ND filter and standard stabilization.
cine EI mode (slog 3) / 25p XAVC S-I 4K
No fancy editing or grading just slapped on a LUT from Topjaw.
this is gorgeous! I am looking to buy the 17-70 for my fx30 too, strong case here!
Do it - I keep trying other lens, but for video it has all the features you want. For the price you can't beat it
Can’t wait to see what this is like in my hands and this is a real world example
One of the best videos I've seen with this camera. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the kind words Tim
ahahahhah this video sucks
@@Bob-om1lk You obviously are commenting on the wrong video! AHA! If you can make a video like this, then I'll validate what you say. Otherwise, I'd just be quiet.
@@TimTrussJrin and u obv blind ahha.. this video is more like how TO NOT use this camera.. looks like iphone 8 footage filmed by a 12 ys old kid.. 2k euros in the trashbins ahah.. u said BEST VIDEO i v seen with this camera.. what u talking about ahhah
@@Bob-om1lk I am not going to argue with you online, Bob. 😂
Thank you for sharing your nice shots! A great camera and an amazing City, so please, some more pictures!
Thank you for watching Günter
Very nice man! Heading here in a couple months, and definitely bringing my FX30
Thanks mate - you will love it
Love the video man! I hope to see more from you!
Thanks mate, you will once the weather gets better 😅
Awesome work! Love it!
The highlights appear blown on YT, but when I hit the comments and the video darkens, I can clearly see the details of the clouds, sky and brighter areas... weird. Nice shots tho.
Can I know how u do to have 0 NOISES ?!
It’s really great work! For mine, my FX30 makes some noisy very easily, but WHY, someone can explain to me?
Can I make best quality feature film for theater of this camera and lens sir ?
Little over exposed city but overall picture is nice
I really love this
Beautiful!
The footage looked great! When shooting in slog cine-ei do you still expose 1.7 - 2 over?
It isn't nessesary, and is perhaps oversimplistic because it really all comes down to the scene and what you are shooting from the experience I've had so far. For example in a couple of these shots you'd need a lot of dynamic range, bright highights through to dark shadows, over exposing by +2 on the meter would severely blow all the highlights and nothing would be recoverable. Where as a scene with a lot less dynamic range it could be beneficial to do so in order to get less noise (as long as you don't clip anything that needs recovering) and then just pull down the exposure in post. I think it's better to use zebras and also false colours if you have a monitor and then you can push exposure as much as possible before clipping and then you can recover later...
why was is it a mistake to shoot with 2500 iso? Isn't that a the 2nd base iso and should not have minimal noise?
Yeah but considering this was a daytime shoot, I'm adding unnecessary noise to the image even by using 2500 iso. It is the second base iso but it still adds more noise (not that you can notice on RUclips) than the 800 one
What's the name of background music? I love it
Music is from artlist.io - artlist.io/song/53955/reflections
very cool man, keep it up.
Did you buy this camera to make money with or to have fun with?
Both, I need a good 4K camera for work, upgrading from a A6000
정말 아름답고 예술적인 작품입니다.
What software did you do to normalise the exposure in post?
Any of them will work, I used Premiere Pro for this as it was just a quick edit but I'll start to use Davinci Resolve
👍👍👏👏
might wanna lower the exposure
more videos please
As soon as the weather gets better 👌
Nice pictures but too over exposed, you should have taken advantage of the camera great dynamic range and exposed it correctly and with a slight grave on edit, nice picture anyway.
Thanks - yeah I accidently hit the 2500 base ISO instead of 800, so it messed with my exposure a little bit on some shots (I've changed the button now), this was just me getting to grips with the camera and there's always room for improvement. Plus the midday sun can be particularly harsh
@@tomseyes This is an awesome video on how to correctly expose with the FX30. ruclips.net/video/Z4Ic19eP36Y/видео.html
@@nfvisuals Thanks, I need to learn how to use the histogram and zebras and not rely on the built in exposure meter
@@tomseyes So, watch that guy videos, he is good on that and you will learn nice things.
