    For what I have learned it is a good idea to ask your taxidriver where they eat because the food is even less expensive and more authentic then in most other restaurants.

    what is the peanut situation in Thailand, me and my partner are going in November and he is lethally allergic to peanuts so just wondered if you knew much about this?

      Hmmm thats a hard one, peanuts are in SO MANY thai dishes, as they crush them up on top of most meals. I think it'd be easy to avoid with some pre-planning, surely there are restaurants which would be able to do no peanuts. Maybe use google translate to figure out the Thai way to explain the situation and show that to waitstaff
