    Speed sensors are a real problem. My wrangler actually quit moving in heavy traffic. This is such bs from jeep and dangerous .

    One of the most epic campsites I've ever stayed at! So glad you got there. Can't imagine getting a trailer up or down the Flint Switchbacks. Fuel is always critical in the Maze District. Folks have a difficult time realizing the distances and obstacles and calculating fuel consumption accurately. Nice video!

    Hey sorry but I gotta ask you. What make and model of drone are you using? Thanks in advance. Awesome videos keep them up

      We use a DJI Avata for the faster action shots and a DJI Mavic 3 for the slower, more cinematic shots

    Curious as to how much extra fuel capacity you have? I appreciate your straight up candidness regarding trails and pucker factors.😊

      We have 2 - 3 gallon Rotopax, 2 - 5 gallon Jerry cans in the trailer, and we strapped extra tanks on to the trailer for both us and Phil’s Jeep. We calculated 250 miles of travel, so you need to be confident in knowing what your off-road MPG is going to be.

      I did that trip last summer in my Grand Cherokee and made it on one tank without tapping the roto pak, barely. Squeeked into Hanksville on fumes.

    I think the gas station in Hanksville is a little closer to Panorama Point, I'll have to check the map to see what it says.

    Can you do an updated video on your Jeep? I’m interested in your suspension setup, and if your axles are still stock. What parts needed replacing/upgrading and at what approximate mileage. What gear ratio you are running and tire size. You use your Jeep for off-road adventures as well as all the pavement miles to get to your adventure. Thank you.

      Absolutely, I have been planning on it already

    What, no drone footage? 😉
    Busy tonight, so I can't join you live, but I'll have to circle back and watch it later.

      I tried my best to get permission, but it is inside of Canyonlands National Park and it was a hard no

      @@TrailTraveler I tried a few years ago to fly up Salt Creek. They said they don't want drones in Wilderness areas. I said it was Salt Creek. They never answered me back... 🤷‍♂

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  7 месяцев назад

      The Film Department for Canyonlands was VERY nice to work with in terms of getting the permissions to film, but when I asked if there was any way to get a drone permit, the answer was "yeah, that's not going to happen". They had no wiggle room on it from above.

    What was the cause of the engine error codes?

      The wheel speed sensors went bad.

      It's either the speed sensor itself... possible, But it is more likely to be the bearing cluster is shot.

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  7 месяцев назад

      @@markgerhart8112 Its been looked at by two different shops and none of them suggested the bearing cluster.

    You probably need a permit to fly a drone in the National Parks.

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  7 месяцев назад +1

      You cannot get one. I could only fly outside of the park limits. They will not allow ANY drone flights for commercial purposes.

    • @billj5645
      @billj5645 7 месяцев назад +1

      Maze Overlook and Doll House are in the national park but Panorama Point is actually outside of the national park. It is in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area which very well may have similar drone rules.

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  7 месяцев назад

      Correct, Glen Canyon has a no drone rule
