It's also typically teen girls being unabashadly loud and “aggressive” due to being hit on by older men cause the way they dressed in Gyaru, and so that's why you'll see a lot of Gyaru being loud and hyper and straightforward

It sad how all beauty cultures tend to convince people their skin is wrong. Too dark or too pale. I remember even as a small child desperately hating how pale I was and trying to tan to the point I had horrific sun burns, and as a white person I didn't have all the other racial issues others face (I am aware my issue doesn't begin to compare) Everyone should love the skin their in, in every shade

Can I just say it is so incredibly refreshing to watch a style transformation video with this much research and thought put into it!!!! Cos I've seen a million goth transformation vids with minimal-no research or understanding of the subculture. Super cool to see how much care went into this

I think you nailed the idea of J Fashions take on America, but it absolutely leans Dolly crossed with Betsy Johnson if they had a baby in a trailer park. Ive come to love gyaru so much after years of being into jfashion, crazy nails and under eye white liner have become staples in my outfits even if they are much more toned down than true gals, so amazing i love the transformation!!!!

I feel like if its powder then expiration date is irrelevant. Liquid matters, and cream kinda depends on the binding agent. Ive had 2 metallic cream paint pots from Cinema Secrets for literally 15 years and i still havent gone through half of them

I don't really know how to come at this topic, because I'm brain foggy as all heck and pretty ignorant regarding race over all, but it is something I've been thinking about for a while especially after seeing that one lady who tried to look like barbie or something and she got injections to make her skin much darker than it actually is. I think discussing the racism side of that is incredibly important, the most important, but along side that discussion, I wish we could talk more about how insecurity and shame can play a role in over-tanning.
People might over-tan because they feel shame about their natural skin colour, maybe because they always felt "too pale" or something else along those lines, and that to me is very sad. Everyone should feel beautiful and comfortable with their natural skin tone, regardless of how light, dark or anywhere in between someone might be, or how "patchy and uneven" someone might feel. All skin tones and types are beautiful, and we don't need to go to such lengths, by injecting or marinating ourselves in harsh chemicals, in an effort to try and change ourselves like that.
Those lashes are giving lady behind the counter in the diner in The Emperor's New Groove! I love it!! This was a fun look.

i use expired eyeshadow palettes too hehe. i think my oldest one is also from around 2015 (RIP to the bhcosmetics Day & Night palette 😭).
i like to go in every once in a while and spritz the palettes with isopropyl alcohol to disinfect. it may affect the makeup's quality so do at your own risk! personally ive never noticed my makeups quality change after disinfecting but im sure in some products adding alcohol might affect it. also if you use too much alcohol it can cause bubbles to form in your product from the evaporation.
Werk! This look is so slay. ❤ I honestly love Gyaru styles so much, even though some times the tanning levels are sus. I think Hime Gyaru is my favorite even though I’m not a pink wearing girly myself, I just love how it looks. Plus the hair is everything. I really appreciate that the point of the style is to subvert and rebel against societal beauty standards. I’m a long nail typa gal, but I can’t imagine trying to do anything with 3 inch nails. I’d love to see a bunch of gals get together and do various tasks with their super long nails. Props to them cause I could never. ❤ I’m sucker for style that invite you to be sexy🎉
