I noticed his accent almost completely disappeared, when he said, "CONFIDENCE comes from your VISION." I was born in Germany, Arnold from Austria, of course. both my parents were German. I have always loved Arnold, truly a tour de force of confidence, and Master of Success techniques. I will always remember his first movie, at the theatre, "Pumping Iron."

Arnold sort of embodies the lesson that if you way overshoot every opportunity you're given with some gross over confidence and self assurance you will almost always stand out and likely rise to the top but in order to stay there and not be deemed cocky and arrogant you've got to have some humility and charm. He really owes his many various successes to a mixture of the two. He at least can admit in order to get where he is today he's had to step on a lot of toes and slam many doors in many faces but that's often life...

    • @jandeenphoto

1:04:15-1:09:48 That is very helpful as I am an over thinker. I am currently experiencing what Arnold had experienced. My mind is constantly thinking about all of my problems(my goals) as one big problem. And I can't really focus on one task at a time.

When I knew Arnold briefly in early seventies Venice it was difficult to see how he was going to get past no money and little english. The era was made for him. He had the will to go on from his sense of success at bodybuilding. A unique being.

@@fender1000100 I know what I experienced on Venice Beach and the Firehouse where we all ate breakfast. I am not a massive egg white eater, and sometimes the Rose cafe. Since your ego is invested for some bizarre reason, in 1972 Arnie did not have the money to buy a building and collect rent .The numbers do not support your misinformed inflated sense of self. Your arrogance thinking you know something unique is sad, whatever you are trying to prove. Arnold changed the face of bodybuilding but in early seventies it did not pay the rent. 1975 the public began to notice and not think it was freaky and gay. Arnold had true charisma, will power and discipline , great skin and facial features. His charm far outweighed what some saw as egotistic. Reflected glory is a false coin.

Tim mentions that many of these may be done over the phone or computer, and not always in an environment lending itself well to a camera. There's also the concept, "What would this look like if it were easy." Extraction might not be difficult, but it's easier to post this 15 places than to extract and then format / edit and then post.

Great interview, but Franco did not step into a hole or divot on the ground to injure his leg at the Strong man competition. The track was smooth as a baby's bottom. He injured himself because he "started to run" which you can't do with that much weight on you. It multiples a thousand times, so a 200 refrigerator suddenly becomes 2,000 lbs. Franco himself admitted that in an interview while he was lying in the stretcher.
