Make sure you downloaded the desktop, and not the reference manager. There are two different options for download. www.mendeley.com/reference-management/mendeley-desktop

The article name would really depend on what you are studying, the topic field, your variables, your findings. You should be able to choose your article name from the research question.

Could anybody explain? how organized multiple author names in ascending order in terms of date by medeleve desktop? for example Siberian Traps sills has been considered as the potential trigger of the end Permian extinction (Burgess et al., 2010; Campbell et al., 2015 ).
@@abnav919Well when I have multiple authors, I select the authors needed by year, I do not know that Mendeley will do this automatically. The best way to find out is to contact Mendeley Support on Twitter, they are very good and extremely helpful.
I'm not sure to be honest. It could be a bad install. I've seen that happen a few times. If a remove and reinstall does not help, contact their support via twitter or their forums. The support people are very responsive.
It may be dependent on the version of MS Word you have. I would definitely reach out to @MendeleySupport on twitter. They are very responsive and always helpful.
Hi, Dr Copeland thanks for the video, great help but when I tried mendeley desktop its keeps saying my id and password are wrong I notice lots of users have this problem tried changing the password on Elsevier as suggested but it still says wrong id - password any way to sort this ? thanks
Dominic Mathew I’m not sure but try a password reset on Mendeley.com first. The application for desktop uses that site to authenticate to when the application signs in.

Yes. The reference manager will not do what these videos discuss. It is only a manager.

This is done by hand, not automatically, meaning, I can add multiple authors with a single insert, but I chose the citation order manually.

I cannot install MS Word plugin, it keeps saying Mendelay was unable to find Word on my computer although I do have Word. Can someone please help ?
