such a beautiful rendering . Please sing alapanais for other ragas too and post. It is very melodious and helpful for us to listen and perhaps learn short forms of alapanai instead of the lengthy versions that other artistes sing. I am sure that many would prefer short versions such as this. Such a beautiful voice you are blessed with! In lesser than 3 minutes you have covered all the nuances , highs and lows and essence of Kalyani ragam...amazing!!
Thanks a million . I haven't learnt music ( my loss) but love to listen .As I kept listening - a song kept flashing in my memory . I wanted to verify if I had identified it correctly and I cannot express my joy on finding it to be so. By humming the last line I could identify the Tirupavai Pasuram - Ambarame tannire...... My koti koti pranaam to vox guru and to madam .
This is probably one of the best kalyani alapana rendering. We would like to have a tutorial for learning alapana which would actually help us. Hoping, it would be implemented soon! All the best!:) ❤️🥀💫
Madam namaskara. I request u to teach this raga along with swaras (notes) so that very helpful to me to learn the same because now age is 65 yrs. With respectful namaskaram.
It is my personal request. Please upload the videos of aalapanas of other ragas. Like bhairavi, shankarabharanam, mayamalavagowla, chakravakam and others. Please.
Thanks for watching! Alapana is a free flowing exploration of a raga. This is created spontaneously by the artist without any pre-planned notation. Hence alapana or any form of manodharmam is not learnt through notation, but more by an understanding of the raga and one’s own visualisation of the phrases.
If this alapana is with notation, then it will help learners to learn. But really excellent alapana with attractive voice.
Super voice and rendering. Kindly share the notes. It will help us to learn

Thank you! Check out the videos in our playlist titled Exploring Ragas where we have done a Swara based exploration.
1:40 - goodness me !
How so you give such timestamps ?
@@asaradhi I thought it sounded awesome. I don't know much about music but her control and singing is simply sublime.
She has sung it well but the video'd speed has been edited and fastened. She has sung it slower than how it appears here. Observe keenly!
As I said, I am no expert. Your 'observe keenly' is rude. Please, learn manners and humility.
Notation please 😊❤
