Just made a funny video of Egg Emperor Showing ACTUAL EVIL (Not that 1 minute Evil all of us are used to). I'm still working on Chaotix mod and planning to rework their Robot Carnival and Robot Storm after I'm done with all of their stages
This is more or less how the Egg Emperor fight would have looked realistically. Eggman is capable of building a fleet big enough to go on as far as the eye can see, so he should at least be smart enough to come prepared with all of his best artillery for the final battle.
Yeah I discovered too using the tornado jump, because I always thought that was the best defence, because while you are spinning in the air creating the tornado, sonic is invencible. Later I found that a perfect rocket accel also does the job, and then I found this video, a long time after...
@@spindash64honestly super hard mode would be the better challenge with the bosses since you are speed running the whole game beginning to end with the length of team sonic dark and chaotix it would make sense to have super hard bosses too
This actually would've been very fitting for the Egg Emperor. I mean, it's in the name, the ruler of an empire, which Eggman's army is, so having all these enemies with it and in such organised groups would've fit the fight. Another cool addition would've been if it could fire lasers from its shield, similar to the red and yellow bots that I forgot the name of. All it's really got is the lance beams, charge and missiles. Also holy shit that health...
What the heck?! You can block the Egg Emperor's charge attack?! Heh, I've played Sonic Heroes since I was a kid (It was also my very first Sonic game I have ever played and it's also my favorite game in the series), completely mastered it when I was 17 and I never knew that detail. I guess maybe at my next playthough of the game, I'll also use that strategy against the Egg Emperor and make him more of a chump than usual. Good thing I still have the game 'till this very day after like a decade or so, and it's just waiting on my shelf for me to one day play it once again after seven long years. Sure I might get a bit rusty, but the muscle memory and overall experience will all come rushing back in once I play the first level. Ah, I miss playing Sonic Heroes.
The last console game. He voiced him in Sonic Battle and Sonic Advance 3 after this game was released. Still a good Eggman and it’s a shame that he passed away.

Punching Sonic and Tails into Eggman while he charges must hurt quite a lot
