Aimbeast is -75% on steam for couple more days so if the high price was the only negative thing to say about it now seems like a good time to check it out.
nailed osu on the head. as someone who plays it everyday it’s best used as a warm up for fps if you’re not interested in the base game itself. it doesn’t necessarily train anything but will certainly kick you into gear.
Actually a great way to approach osu being on the list. I was skeptical at first because you were meme-ing on it but you definitely turned it around with the low tier but high praise for what it is meant to be.
@jacobe3051 of course, but there are always better options, aimlabs and kovaaks both have mouse smoothness training that works far more consistently. Without all the extra frenzy style aiming that doesn't really help.
Osu is not really for aim especially in fps. But it does improve reaction time by alot especially if you learned AR10+. I cant remember how many times I successfully flick an enemy from an angle I wasnt expecting
i got aimbeast back in like 2020. Thought it was just a mid aim trainer to start with and now i’m seeing they’ve came a long way. I’m going to reinstall it
Tierlist is great for aim trainers! Aimbeast arenas was definitely really fun when I could play it in alpha (there's rarely anyone playing at times that I'm awake, Australia sucks T-T) Though, I think there are nuances regarding the two rhythm-based 'aim trainers' that aren't addressed that make them a little iffy on their placements. [8:47] Procedurally generated content isn't necessarily good. Memorization has little to no component in aiming, e.g. in Valorant you have the game sense to know where people are going to come/peek from a majority of the time. It doesn't take away the fact you need to hit your shot. If it did have a major impact on aiming, you would see top players in osu just memorizing the hardest map possible and just doing it. Along with this, the difficulty in Beat Aim usually only rises in clicks per second and approach rate, becoming a tool for training tile frenzy > aim. Mcosu also has a randomization feature, however it is rarely used as it can make a maps difficulty extremely varied. e.g. turning a stream (a line of circles) from a smoothness task (keeping your cursor speed at a certain speed) to an unreadable mess (think unpredictable strafes). Like imagine centering 180/SYW bot decides to do 6 strafes in a second just for fun. It also has mods that make the entire playfield move like tamts, or for the circles to strafe left and right. w/ [4:47] I think that both Mcosu and BeatAim have an affinity towards static/target switching, and they definitely do train those two skills. There is definitely a lack of reactive tracking (and consequently evasive switching) in both games. I would not say that it is not relevant in actual shooters, unless Voltaic benchmarks are not relevant either, as Mcosu was my only static training when I hit Nova in ww3t in S3 voltaic. Though, in the end, efficacy for both are lower than traditional aim trainers.
@@xlgapelsin6173 I'm surprised, yes, i probably have the same opinion now, but at the moment i don't play shooters, im simply can't find something interesting for myself :c
I literally just got aimbeast, primarily cuz of your amazing video break down, and also cuz of it's download size, I'd rather aim beast with 1gb installation than any of the others mentioned
I love 3d aim trainer, and while yeah, there's not much to compete against (10 concurrent players on steam), the ui and difficulty scaling are very easy to use. Not to mention, all of the challenges are neatly organized into tracking, flicking, clicking, and switching. This is huge for me, as I don't care so much for becoming the aim god of all time, but instead I realize that I struggle in certain areas (tracking and switching) and I want to improve those with the variety and scaling that 3d aim trainer provides. Definitely my #1 as a supplement to improving at a game, I can see why it's not as recommended as an aim trainer though.
oblivity is my favorite overall , using it right can give you really good results for sensitivity. The aimlab one is to randoom and I dont like that I cant customize the sens finder scenarios.
I bought aim beast one or two years ago, I'm so happy I did. Despite never really using it, hearing that I didn't waste my money on some random steam garbage is really nice. Especially since it's gone up in price.
Actually I would argue that using a suboptimal sensitivity can be quite detrimental to long-term improvement, especially in certain games, due to the balance between arm movement and wrist movement required for high level aim (when I say long-term I really do mean long-term). You know, if your sens it way too high you're gonna end up moving your crosshair 3 heads in a single frame while trying to move it slowly (I've seen that from somewhat high elo players in valorant) and you'll never learn how to use your arm to cover large distances in less time. And if your sens is too low, you'll end up running out of mouse space and not learning how to use your wrist for micro-adjustments
yep, I played with high sens since 2017. Recently started taking things a bit more seriously and joined my college counter strike team. I had to make my sens 1/4 of the original to consistently hit headshots at expected range, and now I'm struggling to learn to use my arm when aiming and especially when tracking.
thanks man for the video, i just found your channel and i must say that it was helpful and informative. I have been playing videogames on a xbox and moved to pc and my aim is not the best. but thanks to your video , now i can practice and win some games.

I'm a beginner and i bought kovaaks and aimbeast. My aim feels nice and smooth in aimbeast, but the scenerios are so freakin hard that they leave me frustrated with myself. I find myself going back to kovaaks doing voltaic routines because they're easier. I really wish aimbeast had voltaic.
Out of curiosity, what kind of scenarios did you play? Most popular ones, ranked playlist (beginner, advanced?), weekly challenges? I do agree Aimbeast has many stupidly hard scenarios but there are also quite a few easy ones

For absolute beginner it's okay, but there are just very few scenarios and even fewer good scenarios. If size is a concern, Aiming.pro, Aimbeast, 3DAimTrainer and EasyAim are all better options
Im gonna be disagreeing with you on Osu. Whilst Osu can train your eye to hand coordination, the basics of Osu and FPS game are too different to be categorized as one thing. Osu is more about freehand movement and how you go with the rhythm of the beat meanwhile FPS is more about stability and precision based movement. And Osu in general is not only osu classic but there are osu taiko, osu keyboard, and osu ringo. So, I will entirely disagree with Osu included in Aim Training categories. It was never meant to be an aim training game, it was meant to be a rhythm gane where people click with their keyboard following the rhythm of the song.

Bro the ppl who think osu isn’t an “aim trainer” are the same ppl that think gender transitioning is okay the ppl that say it’s a rhythm game that is literally something that will get you better at aiming it’s called mouse control being able to move your mouse fast efficiently and accurately with control and just throwing the mouse out your hand especially in games where you need to memorize spray patterns for recoil control anything that helps you keep control of your mouse while shooting at someone is an aim trainer literally you going online clicking the internet app hitting the search bar so you can type is all “aim trainer” it’s called hand eye coordination if you see something on your screen and your able to pin point that with your hand and move your mouse to that position with relative speed and control your going to have good aim in most pc games playing something like osu requires you to think quickly with hand eye coordination seeing the objects appear and needing to react fast with your hand to complete the sequence in a video game if you ever go to take a shot and flick someone and you ether don’t even get close or you go way past the guy and shoot you need to worry less on your actual shooting and more on crossair placement timing etc if your having trouble spraying a gun sit in the actually practice range or whatever on that said game and just spray it over and over and over again anything can be used as an aim trainer anything that uses your brain to see a certain point on your screen that then uses your hand to move your mouse and click on a specific spot is aim training.
There's a major difference with Osu and FPS hand to eye coordination. Coordinating the hand to eye in FPS is more toward calm, compose, and more toward precision micro and macro adjustments. Meanwhile Osu has more freehand and precision based adjustments. Also note that Osu players play with a drawing tablet rather than mouse so there are not Click to Eye coordination because the clicks are often played on the keyboard. Take an example on mrekk or whitecat plays. Those player are the top of Pen Tablet and Mouse player but they are often more going on a short travel mouse movement and they click with their keyboard. Often, they will use wooting keyboard to have the best clicking actuation on certain maps that require a fast 220 bpm tempo click. Meanwhile FPS players are bound to use the entire lower arm to create better movement, better flicks, and overall smooth and precise movement. Osu is not meant to be an Aim trainer to begin with. It was meant to play patterns that resemble the music beats and rhythm. So Your opinion isn't completely true and man up with it
If you look at most pro players, they often have a click reaction test for 150-170 ms where some even go as far as 100 ms. The coordination between those clicks are built from experiences of training.
