Yeah. I had two nice steak rounds and even though they looked like they were cooked medium, they still were overcooked and not as moist or tasty as I thought they would be. I will have to experiment a little more.
I made this as someone who never cooks. Accidentally used tenders instead of breasts, it was amazing. Threw them on a toasted bun with sharp cheddar, lettuce, avocado mash, and some chick-fil-a sauce. Was an amazing sandwich, will be making again. Probably took me more like an hour and a half to do everything though😅
Dude I just made this recipe ! Bro so good ! Literally a game changer. I know it may seem basic but literally best chicken I made so far. Thank you so much for this !
I was so miserable with my air fried cooking that I was contemplating quitting my diet until I seen this video. I seasoned mine with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder and it’s so juicy I can’t believe this is air fried and now the possibilities for chicken are endless for me all over again to ease me thru this weight loss period
Ok, I did it! These are sooooo good. I did what you did, I marinated one in Italian dressing and then just a dry rub on the other, and for a side, I made sauteed vegetables. This is such a good dinner, and so healthy... I LOVE IT! THANK YOU! 😋😊💜
Thank you so much for sharing Joe! I’ll be sure to try this! Just a friendly tip… the part you were using is only for flattening the meat so it cooks evenly. The other end with the pointy grooves is for tenderizing. 😉
I’m getting in the gym life and I need to find quick and easy ways to make my meal prep, thanks for the great eat recipe. I hope to see more of your cooking videos in the future.
I preheated at 400 for 5 minutes and cooked 12 minutes afterward for 12 minutes flipping halfway through. Mine wasn’t cooked all the way through so I added 3-4 more minutes. Good recipe thanks for sharing.
Yeah. I have a brand new top of the line air fryer. I pounded the chicken 1/2” thick and came up with similar numbers. There’s no way I’m hell his chicken cooked through in 8 mins total.
I stopped eating chicken breast for 10 years because every time I've had it, whether at home or at a restaurant, it was always dry. Even chicken fajitas at restaurants were dry. But THIS RECIPE HAS CHANGED MY MIND. I went into this not as optimistic lol, but after trying this way THE JUICINESS IN this way won me over! I've bought 2 packs of chicken breast and will be making it this way from now on. This is my second day of eating this and its amazing!! Thank you!
This is been one of the best chickens I have had for a while! What made it better was your dry Rub receipt. I did everything you did but I added I little bit of oil and rub it in the chicken before seasoning it and did the dry rub but got Chile and lime instead of just the chile part and it was great! Thank you now I have a go-to receipt!
I've been using my air fryer for about 2 years now and I haven't made it as juicy as this until I saw this video. Thank you so much. You've saved my chicken meals. Can't wait to try it with my lemon juice seasoning again!
I made the spice mix, and I must say it turned out amazing. I prepared a dry rub version, and it made the chicken incredibly juicy. For reference, I used this spice rub on a 2 kg bag of chicken breasts: - Chili powder: 12 grams - Onion powder: 6 grams - Garlic powder: 8 grams - Paprika: 5 grams - Cinnamon: 3 grams - Black pepper: 6 grams - Salt: 15 grams I added the salt, and it was a great decision-I loved it.

I used a air fryer for the first time this past Sunday. My Shake and Bake chicken drumsticks turned out so delicious. The Mrs Dash Chipotle BBQ Seasoning was the best. Thanks for sharing.
Great recipe and directions. The chicken breast I made came out so tender. I threw some zucchini in with the chicken and a side salad. It was sooo good.
Clicked on the Amazon link and saw a few 1star reviews for this air fryer, All saying it randomly burst into flames.some posted video😳. So much for that purchase.
Hi Joe! Thanks for the recipe can’t wait to try it! If i may ask, in the written recipe it says 1/4 inch thickness but in the video you say 1/2 inch. Which one do you mostly go for? Thanks again!
You've motivated me to use my airfryer after a long while. It's a NuWave, and the basket is as large as yours. I looked over the dry rub suggestions, I'm a big fan of cinnamon and clothes among other things with a dry rub then that would angle me towards the Mediterranean/Gulf. As I want to serve this with a pasta side I'll go with the Italian dressing marinade for starters. Thanks.
just tried this with chicken breasts out of the fridge maybe that was the difference they werent room temp to start? but i mashed them flat as can be and air fried them at 400 for 5 mins per side and still werent even kinda sort of cooked in the middle
i have had my air fryer for about 4 months. I never thought of tenderizing my chicken breasts i've thrown in it. I will start doing that! Thanks for your video!
Great video and I am looking forward to trying this tonight. But I've got to ask .... at about two minutes in, you showed the insertion of the thermometer, but in the end, it looked like you just relied on timing and cutting into the chicken. Did you use the thermometer? Maybe you just didn't show that part.
his audience is north american... theres no grams measurements in our kitchens.. sure it might be better but itd require everyone deciding to change over and that just hasnt happened... if i switch to grams then im constantly converting every recipe from teaspoons tablespoons and cups into grams... also all of those measurements are of volume where as grams is of weight so you cant have a 15 gram measuring device thatll give you 15grams of flour and 15 grams of sugar youd need a scale and zero it everytime but if you pour too much onto the scale/container then you need to get it back into the package.. what a massive headache instead of picking up the spoon that says 1 teaspoon on it or 1/4 teaspoon on it and just scooping
Depends on when your gonna cook it. Usually giving 24 hours in the fridge comes out better but if your only gonna marinate for a maximum of 2 hours then room temp is fine just don't go over 2 hours.
Hi Joe! I want to make non breaded buffallo chicken for sandwiches. Some restaurants make them, I typically add the sauce at the end however it doesn't stick to it. Any suggestions? Thx

I never like cooking chicken breast because of it's dryness but OMG this came out so delicious. Thank you very much for sharing the terrific tasting chicken breast air fryer recipe.
This is a really good recipe for chicken! It was tender and juicy and flavorable! Although I don't usually use cinnamon, I decided that to use it a to give a fair review. I still don't the cinnamon but the rest of the ingredients are great! I'll make this again I'm sure.
Dumb question, my airfryer arrives tomorrow and chicken is the first thing im making. If im only doing 1 breast, is it still the same preheat 400 for 5min, 4min flip 3-4min?

This was so amazing I made up my own spices and ingredients using apple cider vinegar and Montreal steak seasoning on this chicken with also garlic salt and it was amazing, I cooked the same way with pre heat
I bought my dad a toaster oven/air fryer for Christmas and we experimented with it. I was so impressed that I went out and bought a Ninja air fryer. I have fallen in love with chicken thighs again. @@guibox3 Yeah steak does not do well in the air fryer lol better off baking it in oven or pan fry

Steak works, depends on the air fryer, thickness and timing.
