Lool the SM group pulled the final boss with people outside, pulling the elite pack that spawns when you pull the boss. Ive always been warned about it. But never have seen it happen.
It wasn't with people outside, it was clearly shaman totems. You see only 2 totems in the boss room, that's because the others were left behind and the pack that spawns in the hallway agro through that.
They didn’t miss a pack on Herod…..if anyone or any pets including totems is outside the door when u pull the boss 3 or 4 of the most powerful scarlet mobs run into the room and attack you when the fight starts

Is it bad that I love rescuing people in Hardcore? Like, I know it puts me at a big risk, but I can't help but enjoy being that deciding factor in someone random that I just stumble upon living or dying. We all have the same goal, hit Level 60. If I can help ensure that someone at least has a fighting chance at getting there then I am more than happy to do it.

If your rep in the server is better than theirs then people will probably be more likely to include you then them if the server is good and actually care about that sort of stuff. Clearly, he was in it for the challenge.

If he was as good at tanking as he was escaping they would've all survived, just need to line of sight those mobs otherwise the spells will hit harder than the heals. Easy for me to say of course, and when someone needed a tank I used to be their first choice so I can't blame rookies. I enjoyed him barely surviving but it doesn't feel right, the tank should always die first unless people are making mistakes, maybe since tank classes are the worst to level the priorities change in HC but a reputable tank is like the police, you gotta shield the civilians sacrificing your life, that's just the job description, it takes a certain type of person.
Actually I didn't start running immediately, I tried to get agro but we had 2 entire rooms and I had no aoe taunt available, I would say using my target dummy would have potentially helped but its hard to say, that pull was absolutely massive and the healer died quite early in the fight
@@MellOhh4444 maybe you didn't run immediately but you did give up immediately. mobs came and instead of picking them up, you stood still while typing "omfg". this is a waste of time and you're screwing your group. especially the healer gets into trouble. then for the next 6 seconds you were targetting the hunter's pet while still doing nothing while your team was fighting. team was somehow still okay at this point, healer had mana and nobody was low hp, but then you said "bye" and started running away while your healer had all aggro because you did nothing all that time. for some reason you only started doing anything after your healer died. obviously by then it's already over. next time forget typing and just fight. hit the dwarves 1 by 1 so at least some of them aren't attacking the healer. fewer mobs on healer = he can cast and doesn't have to spend mana on himself. start building rage so you can thunderclap. there was absolutely a fighting chance if you picked the dwarves up. the dwarves have low hp, mark them 1 by 1 and they die fast. assuming your dps targets them lol. might be harsh but this is the kind of tank you hope not to get in your group.

A few things are bad tho. He waited way too long with the health pot. He was one hit away from a fresh character. Secondly he didn't even key-bind his health pot. That is unacceptable, especially as a warrior tank. He also did not use shield block to mitiage more damage. Other than that he did very well and I'd be comfortable playing with him.

True, also there IS a way to bubble that sleep. I used to tank that boss as pala all the time. The immunity only works if you have the bubble on yourself first and he tries to cast the sleep into it. Can't bubble out of it if you aren't fast enough tho. It's like a 1 sec cast

Yeah it was actually the hunter, you can see he back strafes into the other room and pulls. Someone in the party said it was mage but I realized after watching the clip it was the hunter
thanks for posting my clip! (the deadmines group) we woudlve been fine probably killing those mobs but all our dps had already run to the safe spots, a frost nova / sheep etc and we save our priest easily
