Bro you need to starr calling your trainer or seasoned drivers. You are trying to learn the hard way...does make for good stories, but i would rather have an easy life than great stories
I understand that. The story is being told a certain way for the audience, it’s the art of telling. Also, there was no need to call anyone in this video, another prime driver solve the only issue I had which was the stamp. Trust me, I will call for help if I need it. Nothing done this video was deliberately done to tell a story. I just make it sound like a Story. 😎
@RomaneTheTrucker a call would have made you understand that you didn't need to rely on a random driver that may not be there the next time, and that you didn't need the shipper to actually sign, and you didn't need to go back at the 90 to retrieve the bol with the stamp
If the random driver wasn’t there, then a phone call would go out to someone else. The driver is the one who recognizes me, he’s a prime driver as well. his help was more effective at that moment because he has a stamp on the spot that I need. I know what you’re saying but the aim was to get the detention and I did by getting help, the same help you are requesting me to seek. And speaking of the paper I left at the receiving office, I could go get that as well, that was an easy fix. Now if I couldn’t get it from the receiving office, I would reach out to someone for help. 😃 don’t let the tone of the story make you think other wise, that’s just the Art 😂
Brother communication is key, every single.thing you inform your dispatch. Don't call.just send messages. Shipper says the load will take 10 hr - Send dispatch message After 10 hours, no news - send message Running late - send message Stuck in traffic -send message and update eta Also, make sure to take pictures of every paper we take it to the receiver and check in papers guard gave before turning it to office. Sometimes they dont give half of the stuff..
I will definitely start taking pictures that’s a great advice. Also I did let night dispatch know about the situation, my fleet manager hit me up in the morning to see what’s going on, and why am I still there, what’s the update. All they want was an ETA to change appointment time at the reciever and they did. I was on time with new appointment time. I do communicate with dispatch that’s for sure. Not everything I can fit into the story on RUclips or else it will be drawn out. I just have to tell the punch lines😂😂 but that’s a great comment from you, new drivers will see it.
@@RomaneTheTrucker thank you man, I am with Prime for 7 years and I love listening to your stories when I go for my 5 mile walk at truck stops I might start making short videos which might help new drivers Oh forgot to tell you , you can always ask dispatch wednesday morning whether they can approve it for this week payment , once they approve even if you scan it late, accounting will pay you with this week payment. In rare caes they will also approve Thursday deliveries , especially if you are in hole
Yeah make this short videos man, they can help out a lot . Also next time if I run into a situation like that on a Wednesday, I will ask for a push through. 😃💪🏾
REPLAY. I was intensely listening to the story and then you said "THIS COULD BE A SET UP. I HAD BETTER GET AWAY FROM PUMP 20!". I had to laugh (so funny). There is an adage "You learn something new every day. Well, I guess your lesson for the day was detention slips. I'm not a driver just a mom of a driver and I have seen videos of those caves. Maneuvering seems very harrowing. I might have to start calling you Fred Flintstone - lol. Keep smilin and drivin.
Romaine keep pushing n pushing definitely love ur videos , be safe, your learning cave delivery 💪oh my wrong paper my my my hope u still get ur detention pay be safe keep us posted 💪
There should be a list of items that you’ll need from the company store, they should’ve given you the list during upgrade. The stamp, locks etc should be on it.
I think they did have me the list, but I shop for the ones that I would need for maintenance. It’s all good though, I’m still getting the load picked up and delivered. Soon I will be a super trucker. Thanks for mentioning that’s list, other will see this comment in the future and make sure to get the items on the list. 😃💪🏾
I cannot recall having a detention situation with my trainer. So that didn’t came up. Some stuff we will learn on our own. But my trainer thought me everything else, a stamp is just one of the things we never had to use that I can remember. A lot goes on during a trip and a stamp is just something I might need once in a blue moon. I am not the only one who learn something on their own that we never witness in training. It’s normal
It takes more than a stamp to deliver a load bro, it’s not that deep, even though you want it to be . You’re in everyone’s comment trying to make it a big deal.🤦🏽♂️
Yeah but it’s good, you get experience plus a good paying job. After a year with prime you can get a trucking job anywhere. You can also quit before the year but you will owe prime money. Big up yoself mi general 💪🏾
Nah, my trainer was great. Nothing that happened to me has nothing to do with training. My trainer couldn’t make me get the load faster. Also I’ve never seen my trainer do detention pay, we never got into that situation during training. What happened to me happened to a lot of drivers. Drivers get caught in bad weather or have loads delay all the time. The problems I’m having is not really a problem, just events. 😎
So you’re saying not having a stamp is 90% of trucking? Bro I pick up and deliver the load, I got 99% of things correct. Having a Stamp or not, does not mean the load doesn’t get delivered. There are so many things I had to do correctly to pick up and drop off the load. Come on now. I understand you’re a super trucker who never learn anything new or was new. When is the last time you use your stamp? Do you even have your stamp? And if you do make sure the ink is not empty by using It everyday😂🤷🏽♂️
Definitely will do it if I need to next time. I’ve seen my trainer done it before, so I know it’s true. I’ve already had a lot of miles already for the week so I was ok even if it doesn’t go through.
Keep the videos coming man you are hilarious 😂😂😂 salute
Thank you 😀💪🏾

You don't understand this is a satire channel?
Why because you’re a super trucker and rookie mistakes sounds satire to you? 😂

If you were dropping at the yard you wouldn’t of got those miles anyway
You get a detention stamp at the company store. You stamp it yourself
I am heading to the company store now to get one. 💪🏾
You suppose to have your own detention stamp bro your trainer should’ve told you
