Just a small detail with regard to the synopsis... the person that comes to dispose of Harlequin is not a caretaker, but a medical doctor. The mime commencing at around 11:50 tells the tale "He has been shot, we will get hanged! I have an idea; you (go and) bring a doctor". The sign at 12:03 where the old man (as Cassander sometimes is referred-to in the old Italian manuscripts) holds his left wrist with his right hand and and then bends his left hand downwards is for (medical) doctor.
