@@UpsonPrattJr. six feet under absolutely has the best ending ever but some shows with great finales are mr robot, the shield, breaking bad, better call Saul, the leftovers, the wire, the Americans.
Just watched the last 10 minutes and it always kills me but in different ways from my 20s, 30s and now 40s. Incredible show. Underrated show. Phenomenal cast. Thank you Alan Ball
I'm 44 now in 2023, and have lost so many loved ones since first seeing this air in 2005. I realize it's fiction, but it gives me a feeling of hope that I will see them all again 🤍
Just finished this show last night for the first time. Definitely got teary a few times during this series, especially this ending. One of, if not the best, endings to any show.
Definitely a powerful ending to a very under rated series. This is one of my favorites. I remember crying my eyes out during this episode. Watching all your favorite characters die was crazy emotional.
I started binge watching this show for the first time back in December. I just finished last night and when I tell you that I sobbed through this finale 😭 Omg it was such an emotional ending I had to call my mom and my best friend and tell them how much I loved them and wanted them to be happy. Absolutely beautiful series.
I loved Six Feet Under when it was on... I cried so hard on that final episode...I even left work early the next day at work because I kept crying.. now I'm crying again... As soon as I saw Nat , the water works came. Such a good show and you never hear about it.
First full watch, this scene had me WEEPING. The show did such a great job at character development, we were in love with all of them. I honestly hope this isn’t anyone’s introduction to the show, it deserves to be binged all the way through! 💪
What an amazing gift to be able to put together this song with those images. By far the greatest ending to a series ever. Thank God there are people this talented to bring out the humanity in us all.
Doesn't matter how many times I've watched the whole series, this always leaves me in a puddle of tears. 20+yrs on & its still my fav series of all time, which is a HUGE call, with how many brilliant shows have come out in the past 30yrs. Nate's last line, & then Sia in all her intense vulnerability & rawness just smashes into you like a wave every time.
Damn Nate’s line right at the start hits like a ton of bricks every tiiiime! This finale will NEVER be surpassed, still the best I’ve ever seen easily.
Its been probably 9 years since i first saw the ending. It still makes me cry every time. This show never had a bad season, every episode was amazing. This finale always brings me to tears.
Keith catching the ball, was so profoundly poignant. The sun gave it an almost heavenly touch to the scene, it really sticks with you. There isnt a show close to this that can match its level of drama and bittersweet true to life statements, easily in my top 5 goat shows along with lost, sopranos, game of thrones.
The usage of this song for the end was perfect, you don't get series like this anymore that create each character and give them all closure and a bittersweet moment. It was hard to not shed a tear at the ending . Just a phenomenal show . I loved every season and every character , just wonderfully done.
Heard the song on a Simpsons homage to SFU rerun. Hadn’t thought about it in at least a decade, but led me here. Still one of the most emotional series endings ever. Still brought tears.
No words. the pictures speak. every time I watch this - I get a little more gutted in a good / intense way. Reminds me / us to focus on what is in front of us. The moment. Life is like a camera - focus on what's important. Capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out - take another shot.
When humanity ends, some species will say... there was a form of art in humanity called - tv series - another being will say - what tv series ended the best? - and I hope they will say .... Six Feet Under, Six Feet Under had the best TV series ending that existed, it explored the most important theme humans had which was death... it showed death in the most romantic and emotional way humans knew, it touched humans in the deepest way they knew.
I put this on because Ron Burgundy mentioned it while talking to Sia lol, I kinda forgot for a second what I was getting into. Had to stop the video because I do not want to become a crying mess right now.
I've never seen this show, but it amazes me when I looked up how old this is. One of the deaths was in 2025, I'm like oh that's weird to have something in the future only a couple years away not realizing that when it was filmed, it was portraying a time about 20 years in the future. I also had to come to the realization that the Toyota Prius is also over 20 years old! Time goes by so fast, I ve been very lucky to understand how precious time for as long as I can remember being alive. It has made me cherish so many small parts of my life and be able to look back on them with fond memories. ❤
I was thinking the same thing! They left out Frederico’s death as well. They also didn’t show how Claire and her husband came to be. He showed up to Ruth’s burial.
@@alfonsoholt7988 The montage shows Rico dropping dead from a heart attack on a cruise ship. They don't show Lisa's (Nate's first wife) dying because she's already dead. Brenda is shown with her brother Billy as she dies.
@@thebillybam thanks for clearing that up. I know that was Fredricko now, but I didn’t catch it when watching back then. I had woken up saw that everyone was dying. I think I will binge the whole series again now that it’s on Netflix.

I absolutely loved the six feet under the series❤!

I’ve seen a lot of shows, and Six Feet Under is by far one of the best ones I’ve ever seen.
They did my bo Keith dirty. Everyone passed away peacefully except him
That‘s life, it isn‘t predictable or fair. Sometimes it‘s shitty, like the show teached us. Nate also didn‘t die peacefully.
Initially I felt the same way, but I quickly realized he did have a dangerous line of work.

Best show ending ever. Also Ricky Gervais' "AFTER LIFE" had en equally gut-wrenching ending
"After Life" was excellent. I couldn't watch it with my wife because I've had cancer four times. Once very serious.
The last season felt so fleeting and the ending felt so abrupt :( wasn't ready for it, and never am whenever I re-watch this series.
