When I press the toolset buttons the cutter moves up instead of down. When I touch the cutter with the touch plate the z axis stops and retracts the set distance. I have auto updated but that did not resolve the issue. Thanks

Owww, now I understand your question. You mean after changing tool. I split the nc file in 2 (or more) separate files. Do not forget to copy the header part of the first file @@RM-uw4qt

not necessary to turn machine off.
In the menu, machine setup, spindel setup .... you can set the spindle delay time in seconds
