Finally, his reign of terror is past us, when recently checking some missions to get some CC up to prepare for the anniversary I noticed how playing PvP (Player versus Player) matches will gain me a good amount of Chrono Crystals, yet when looking at my box, the unit known as "Super Vegeta" (DBL68-01S) was nowhere to be found.
I simply had to give up my chance on getting those missions done since I had no chance of ever winning a single game when this unit was in the featured boost. Now that he is far away from being the unit of all time, I can once again come back and show my true skill on the Dragon Ball Legends PvP ladder.

I mean, you are kinda correct (at least for bad characters), but you forgot that, believe it or not, the blue boys (tag SSGSS Goku and Vegeta from 2021) and SoH Trunks were placed in A tier after feature boost! So basically with this trick they "extended" the feature boost for those units (because A tier and feature provide the same buff). Fortunately they never did this crap again because was even further beyond in terms of scummy behavior, but well, this doesn't change the fact that it happened lol
