Nice 70 diesel! I have our 70 we used to farm with over forty years ago. Looks just like yours except mine is narrow front. Thanks for kindling some memories!
great diesel tractor! looked very smooth and pulled the 3 bottom with out issues. sad about your plow days. hope you have one next year! nice video, great job.
Very nice! I spent a lot of time in the 60's farming with a 70 diesel. It was a standard. Interesting that they only use one lever to start the diesel.
The 70 diesel held the top spot for fuel econemy for many years according to the Neberaska Tractor Test Data. In that groung the 70 could use one more bottom on that plow.
Sometimes the best laid plans can get derailed. Mother nature hasn't been overly cooperative so far this Spring. Tried a couple of passes on a headland with the empty planter after redoing the opening and covering discs. Still too gummy to consider tillage or planting.

Love seeing vintage plowing. That’s a sweet 70 JD he has!

I'm sure running the equipment is satisfying as it looks! No cab no comfort but knowing no different don't hurt.😅 plow on!
Love those seventy diesels have three of them

First row crop diesel for Deere
We ran a '70' and a '730' , both diesels.
I do that with my 53 WD. Cool
Looks like it could use a bigger plow

Can you and dad do a video on plow adjustment for those of us too far away to join you?
Sure we can do that some time
How many miles do you have on the old 7.3?
288008 to be exact lol
Ours doesn’t have a air stake hmmm
It was a option my Dad's 720 didn't have one on it we put it on
the only jd i would ever own is 730 dsslall else mf/ihc it take a lot to set up a plow and tractor tire width
