This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on how to make the GTD system work in a paper planner! Thank you so much. I would love for you to take it even further and show how you work back in to your schedule anything you moved to a project or somewhere other than the very next week. That’s where things seem to get lost for me.

Do you have or will you do a video on how you plan a project. How do you keep track of where those pages live, since you said they live elsewhere. Please give an example of a simple project (5-10 steps) like presenting something like... quarterly reports and of a complex project (more than one page). 💖🌞🌵😷

Thank you for asking this Suzi! I have been thinking a lot about a video on project planning since I get this request quite a bit. Working on how to show that best. Thanks for watching!

I watched your OneNote videos first (which are awesome and so helpful) but I came back to watch this, as I wasn't clear on how to use that page. Now, I get it. Thanks! After one week, I am already feeling so much more organized and less scattered!

I do two different Weekly Reviews including brain dump/mind sweep. For work, this is done on Friday afternoon. For home, this is done on Sunday. I need to "close out" each portion of my life so that I can have the best version of the other as I transition between my two main roles in my personal and professional lives. This is the only way I can run these main portions efficient enough to be able to add in grad school and some amount of recreation.
I have similar folders in my email. I also have @reference for those materials that are sent and valuable, but not actionable such as instructions to run a report that I need every month or quater.

Re: step 1. Years ago I worked a job where you were required to clean up your area each day. At first, I was really annoyed. But cleaning up at the end of the day, gives closure and by the time I get home, my mind has switched over to my job as a mom and that work stuff is left at the office. So, I've continued the practice to start every day in a fresh, reset work environment. ... As for sticky notes, I don't use them for reminders... Sticky notes can get lost, so reminders go on my daily page. I've had someone hand me a sticky note and I stick it on my daily with tape. ... Even though I am constantly reviewing the week, I do a review at the end of the week as well. ... I think of it like the final edit on an essay. During the week I check for the fine details (like grammar and punctuation). But my end of the week review is where I'm reading for content.💖🌞🌵😷

You mention the "inbox zero" concept. I kind of get this but I'm trying to decide whether it's really something that makes sense for me. Over the course of a month I receive probably a couple of hundred emails, and send seventy or eighty. A lot of them are automations I've set up or things I'm CCd on but are irrelevant. What is the purpose of "inbox zero" so that I can see whether it would be a good idea for me or not?
