I think something that gets overlooked is, how special were these ladies, and how important was this church, that God sent this miracle there, so they could continue on?

If you pray whole hearted to St. Joseph for your salvation, he will not refuse. I was there at the staircase and took that opportunity to pray for my own conversion from being a lukewarm catholic. Lets say that he responded to my prayers.

I don't understand how nuns were afraid to climb stairs God had gifted them. Or how they could alter the stairs by adding hand rails. The disrespect and lack of faith towards God is unbelievable. Especially from nuns. They're supposed to be the strongest believers. They should have accended the stairs with faith and joy in their hearts.
How could they confirm that God gifted them this stair? A mysterious man comes out of nowhere and builds them a stair that too in complete privacy, never took any wood from any lumber company etc. We cant blame the nuns bud.
The stairway is even more glorious with out the railing.
