As an African watching American politics, I can tell you there is a huge difference between Condoleezza Rice and Kamala Harris. A citizen of the great state of Louisiana here, charter schools are public schools, a privatized version of it, and now conservatives are saying they (public) schools will need to compete for students. We only have the options of charter schools and private schools in New Orleans. The voucher system will allow parents more choice and access to directing the process. As a moderate voter, I am not mad with that policy in the great state of Louisiana.

A citizen of the great state of Louisiana here, charter schools are public schools, a privatized version of it, and now conservatives are saying they (public) schools will need to compete for students. We only have the options of charter schools and private schools in New Orleans. The voucher system will allow parents more choice and access to directing the process. As a moderate voter, I am not mad with that policy in the great state of Louisiana.
