Operation Victor Jenga targets Mongols MC in Cairns

Queensland Police Detectives have charged six people as part of an operation targeting members and associates of the Mongols MC bikie club in Cairns.
Operation Victor Jenga commenced in August 2023, to disrupt, gather intelligence and conduct enforcement actions in relation to bikie activities and associates.
Officers from the Major and Organised Crime Squad and Organised Crime Gangs Group and Taskforce Maxima supported by the Cairns Tactical Crime Squad, conducted multiple raids at properties in Kewarra Beach, Smithfield, Edmonton, Palm Cove, Redlynch, and Brinsmead on May 31 2024.
In total, six people have been charged with 23 offences, including grievous bodily harm, habitually consorting with recognized offenders, and drug offences.

You have to wonder why the cops are leaving certain other clubs alone; one in particular. Maybe because those clubs have cop members or are a part of the 'system'? Some of the other clubs are very 'financial' with pubs and properties and businesses across the spectrum. Is all of these raids just standover? There is always going to be a bit of crime and corruption and the cops want their finger on the pulse, if not their hand right up the skirt.
