I joined the job market in august 2022 , as a hardware engineer in germany. At that time i had only been a broke student who never had any meeting, so i never cared about money or bothered learning about. Since starting my job, ive been slowly learning about money and finance, and managed to take my net worth from 0 to 25k euro, distributed between stocks and cash. I only just got into bitcoin about 1-2 months ago, and im all in. Got a hardware wallet, cold storage, working on memorising my seed phrases, and decided to buy as much bitcoin as i can. Sadly, I dont think ill ever achieve the one bitcoin, as it will take me too long to save up the required amount, and by that time, bitcoin will be too expensive. Im still gonna invest most of my cash flow into bitcoin every month. Hurray for sound money!

During the 2017 bull run I knew a guy who had 100 BTC. Literally lived in his mom's basement. He sold it all at $10K and bought three or four rental properties. Funny thing is he still lives with mom afaik. He should have kept at least half to see where it would go.

I bought my whole bitcoin back in 2017 for £4000 , I missed the bullrun and rode it all the way back down along with a crap load of alts I could’ve made 250k on … (oh well I still have them all and then some)
My question is do you plan on selling your bitcoin in the next bullrun … because even if it hits 100k I doubt I will sell mine … because once it’s gone it’s gone and you might never get that chance again?

Don’t be the impatient! Bitcoin is about having a long time horizon. At 100k best believe it will be a psychological trigger for many people to sell, but don’t cave! You know where this is going! Just have to have a 10-yr perspective.

I feel this video was aimed toward me. I sold my stocks because i had a nice profit this year and nothing is a sure thing. Recession could loom around the corner. I just wanted to lock in money.
Now, im pivoting towards crypto, mostly BTC, for the run of 2024-25. Plan to sell some of it and HODL at least one coin.

I lost most of my BTC when Voyager went bankrupt. I learned my lesson about exchanges and the importance of having a secured wallet. Right now, I still have 25% of a BTC. Scarcity doesn’t mean anything without a market that drives it, demanding for higher prices. No one wants to spend it like a currency, hence a digital gold- unconfiscatable, mobile form of property. Or so they say.
