That trick at the end on how to re-latch the seat was very helpful. I got it all installed easily enough and then could not get it to latch. I was like 'WTF?'. I mean, it's a pretty straight forward installation and I could not figure out how I could have messed up. I know to search the web before freaking out and came across this video. Spot on. Thanks for the insightful gem.
My 2017 F150 302A crew cab has the same ability to fold down the drivers side rear seat back. I drilled a 3/32" hole in the round pin inserting a key ring and tying it off with para cord to the head rest. Works as it should and saved $40cdn.
