I can't help but tear up when I hear this.
These sister's truly have an effect on me.
God, how I love them both.
I know exactly how you feel Chuck.
They both are incredibly talented.
i think this is my favourite FAK song.
Yeah, I feel the same on this one.
Klara's voice on this song is incredible.
this is one of my favorite songs
And you said, "Don't give me nothing
You don't want to lose"
I said, "Darling, I'll give you everything I got
If I want them to choose"
Then I got on a plane and flew
Far away from you
Though unwillingly I left
And it was so, so hard to do
The streets here at home had rapidly filled up
With the whitest of snow
And they don't make no excuse for themselves
And there's no need, I know
Now I miss you more than I can take
And I will surely break
And every morning that I wake
God, it's the same
There's nothing more to it,
I just get through it
Oh, there's nothing more to it
I just get through it
It always takes me by surprise
How dark it gets this time of the year
And how apparent it all becomes
That you're not close, not even near
No matter how many times I tell myself
I have to be sincere
I have a hard time standing up
And facing those fears
But Frank put it best when he said
"You can't plan on the heart"
Those words keep me on my feet
When I think I might just fall apart
Now I miss you more than I can take
And I will surely break
And every morning that I wake
God, it's the same
There's nothing more to it,
I just get through it
Oh, there's nothing more to it
I just get through it
Oh, there's nothing more to it
I just get through it
And so I ask where are you now
Just when I needed you
I won't ask again
Because I know there's nothing we can do
Not now, darling, you know it's true
Perfect yodeling hiccup mistake at 3:35! Love em
love it! reminds me they are human and I hold them in even higher regard.
Great songwriting and musicianship!
todays female version of the Everly Brothers! absolutely amazing!
favourite song of my girls
I get to see them in North Carolina in two weeks. I absolutely cannot wait.
They're even better live.
A song for a broken heart
For sure. This is the first song I heard on the morning after my best girlfriend called to tell me she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I cried and cried and cried. She passed away four months later. This is the song I played for her at her memorial service. It speaks for my broken heart. I play it every November to remember Robin ...... and never, ever forget how strong friendship love can be.
@@barbarascoville3643 I'm so sorry. That sounds more hard than imaginable. I hope you are doing better now and have this song to cherish those memories
Beautiful song! I'm in love with their music!
One of my fav!
Beautiful
As far as this ol Yankee is concerned, FIRST AID KIT, should be the second SUPERGROUP to come from SWEDEN after ABBA.
I love every song I've heard you guys performed!🇸🇪❤🇸🇪❤🇺🇸
That was wonderful
magic!
Ahhhhhh lovely
I love this come to Lewes UK
True genius.
except for the brief crack in Klara's voice at 3:35 (cute gesture), i cant imagine them performing the song any better than this. bravissimo! superb percussion work by mattias, too.
Yeah I really enjoyed the whole thing and that part was fun. You kinda see Klara catch it and touch her chest for a second like "oops, but oh well..."
They are the ultimate girl Fleet Foxes.
I absolutely love First Aid Kit, and this is a wonderful song. Wish the sound crew in the studio would have done them a little more justice.
Brilliant
Sweeeet! :-D
