Yesterday I finished dragons dogma 2. Which i find really great. But it is fantasy and it is great to have the real time machine that is kcd
I'm really surprised more gaming companies haven't followed suit. Non magic, Medieval RPG genre is something many people have been requesting for years now.
I'm a 49 yr old, Medieval history and romanticized knights, arms and armor has been a lifelong passion of mine. The first game was a dream come true. I've been waiting with bated breath for this sequel ever since I finished the first playthrough I achieved.
I am sincerely humbled that I share a bit of the passion you show towards this game, Roxy. It brings me true joy that we all will be able to continue our adventures later this year

FUN FACT: The song in 13th minute is actually prayer to Saint Barbora ("sancta Barbara - oro pro nobis" actually roughly translates to "Saint Barbora, please bless us"). Saint Barbora is patron saint of Kuttenberg cathedral, where video was shot. 😊

I really like it. Not only does he look more mature and fully grown now (which is fitting since there has to have been at least a bit of time elapsed), he also looks more like a nobleman now - a bit sleeker and more prosperous, I guess.

4:33 - its called "píšťala" (in Czech - "flute" and also origin of the word "pistol") one of the earliest handheld firearms. Utilized to great effect and popularized by the hussites in 1420s-1430s, so quite appropriate if this game is set to late 1410s (guessing from Henry's older appearance).
1403. I think they jumped tech tree a bit to give us poor swordsmen a chance.
Those Píšťala was used with "Hákovnice" in Hussite war and no those are not flintlock like i saw some comments on those firearms.
I’ll tell you what I think Roxy. It’s fair to say that the whole KCD community has you (among a few others) to thank for keeping the dream alive.
It was a joy to watch the reveal with you and biscuitland at the same time. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. ..and thank you for sharing this, the reaction you had to keep secret.

I got the first game when I was really at a low point in my life. I played it to death, and it really helped me through that. This year has been spiraling even worse than 6 years ago, and honestly, I am kind of stuck in the dark again, and I feel pretty lost.
And then Warhorse announces KCD2, and I see some light.
I know how silly that sounds, but it means the world to me to see that little bit of joy on the horizon. ❤

So long story short, SxyBiscuit has backed and been from day one, promoting and showing nothing but the utmost support to this game, as well as devs. So much so, she helped in getting this game to reach a broader audience, who otherwise may not have even known about this game. This game also did a lot for her, that's why she was getting emotional as well. She's followed, covered and backed this game and the devs from the very beginning and still continues to do so. So basically the devs and those who play characters in the game have given her acknowledgement pretty much and as you can see, still do. I highly recommend checking out her older vids as well for better understanding. Plus her playthroughs are awesome anyways lol Also, shout out to ROXY! she's come a long way, and all the good that comes her way she most certainly deserves. She's legit a one-of-a-kind content creator, no doubt. & I think I can speak for all the sexy biscuits out there when I say, we hope to see that continue! ♥️

I’m just a causal gamer. Played kdc when I was stationed in Germany and loved it. This is also the time I stumbled upon this channel that guided me through the difficult learning curve of the game. The moment I heard there was a kdc2. I immediately had to type sxy biscuit into utube to see your reaction.

It's incredibly rewarding. Don't despair when things get rough. Once you learn to handle the map, you will never want to play on normal mode again. :)

@@ohhhSmoothFor me it’s just that Normal mode becomes way too easy once you get plate armor, you basically become an unstoppable god. Hardcore is where all the balance is.
@@Lord_Simpwalker it's still the same in hardcore tho. Once you're geared up, most of the challenge is gone.
@@ohhhSmooth Not true. 1v1s may not be any challenge particularly but one versus multiple opponents becomes excruciating difficult depending on the enemies (especially the pole arm wielding plate armor bandits), but honestly this is because the targeting system is garbage and combos are extremely risky in 1vMany engagements. I’m currently playing my 12th play through and I’m halfway through the game with all negative perks in Hardcore, so that’s probably why it can feel weirdly janky lol

I am so excited for this release! KCD was by far the most impressive, most engaging and immersive game I have ever played.
I got lost in this game for months during the pandemic when I first purchased it.
It was like being trapped into another world and was just what I needed in that isolated period of time!
War horse studios is my favorite developer and I live the passion they put into their games.
Seeing this trailer and interview I can know see why it took this much time in between games.
You just made me well up with tears. 🤭Again, because when I watched it alone weeks ago, it was already like that. I couldn't believe what a long way KC:D has come, and that so many devoted people can passionately work for so long tirelessly on a collaborative project that connects them all together, just as NOT in one of those soulless, lifeless, supposedly triple-A game development juggernauts where suits squander hundreds of millions in resources to whip out games for shareholders but not for people.
This, however, is what happens when a gamer has a vision to make a game for gamers, the way he loves what a game should be, and at the same time has the talent to get his vision across to people who have the skills and means to help him make it become reality.
So many passionate people who have dedicated their lives to their craft and their arts. When I look at each one of these musicians alone, the path they have taken or had to follow all the way to one day sit where we see them performing their art, where they have come together to form an orchestra, each one of them with their own lives, their own hurdles, their own aspirations to become that one note in a masterfully composed score, that alone parallels all the other crafts required for making something happen, for bringing it into being.
They are not just the underclass of the toiling riffraff, none of us are, who have to cater to the next Bentley or private jet of their lofty overlords, as unfortunately many of us do, they are all unique human individuals on their own journey to finally get to this point, to this place where they can help a man's vision of life come to fruition.
And then we get what they thought we all want because they wanted it too. And, hell yeah, how much did we want this, a game fuelled by pure passion and engineered around a dream, not excluding but embedding it, apart from all the commercial considerations that unfortunately also always come with it. But that's the passion of some very different people, not artists.
So when you shed a few tears of joy together, the joy is even greater as you realise that you're not alone, that you're not a weirdo. Passion is contagious. And happiness is the only thing that doubles when you share it. Is it not? ⚜
I couldn't help but feel emotional when I saw this logging on today. Thinking all along they were announcing a New Game apart from KCD, and when the notification hit of the live stream I jumped on surprised to see ~20k watchers on YT and on other platforms. I stood around and watched, and then when the trailer started there was a bit of disbelief, until the rider on the horse came greeted by his friend. Then that flood of emotions was there ahhh what a good surprise and gift!
Roxy you are the one who kept KCD alive for us over all these years, it feels so good to see you that happy here ❤

2:45 That castle is Castle Trosky, the home of Otto of Bergow. Henry and Hans were sent to deliver a letter there during the epilog of KCD1, and according to Tobi, the PR guy of Warhorse, the last scene of KCD1, with Hans and Henry riding off, is exactly where KCD2 starts.

I was living close to bohemian paradise, and let me tell you, you will enjoy every single place you will visit, so hyped
2:40 - That, my dear friend, is castle Trosky. This natural outcrop is one of many rock formations in region called Bohemian Paradise in Northeast Czechia. It was absolutely ideal for building a defensive castle on the top and the ruins of the castle are still there.
What I find most interesting is that Trosky is 63 km (!!!) north of Kutná Hora (or "Kuttenberg" in German), which means either at least two separate locations OR one absolutely MASSIVE map.

I was almost to tears as well, a very emotional moment for us. We've all been waiting for so long, and it finally looks like we are getting into the Hussite period with the Rosenbergs and the handgonnes/arquebus action. Very excited.

After 6 years, they could only show a trailer which is 2 minutes or less but they made a live action video with detailed explanation and showed many footages from the game. Warhorse Studio is extremely perfectionist... I respect them a lot. Really a lot. And they really listened the criticises about their first game. Such as people criticize the game that there's no crossbows and now they're added. For another example, some people found the combat boring but now, it's way more detailed and fun. Of course they were going to improve it but the way how they improved showing that they really tried to listen every players, opinions. Kingdom Com: Deliverance also loved by its musics too... Like, extremely unique and beautiful... Now, they're keep working with the same composer Jan Valta... They're really perfectionist... and I think this year will be the "Medieval Year" because Manor Lords are also on the way. I'm so excited and if this game making us emotional like that, there's something more about this game and it really is... Just Magnificent... I hope they release the game with situations, if they can't, I know that they are going to fix it. To be honest GTA VI announcement did NOT give me those feelings (and imagine GTA VI is one the most expected games along side with Half Life 3) but Warhorse gave me this feelings... They're going to make a masterpiece I feel. They were also looking so excited... I'm trusting them with my Whole Heart and Roxy, thank you so much brother! You've made amazing efforts as well, thank you... you're so special to my Heart...
