How to: Bottom arm and drop link change fiesta mk7 / mk7.5

  • Nice little easy job to do at home. Fiesta mk7 bottom arms and drop links can be bought on eBay for £52 which is incredible compared to genuine Ford parts. Now I know the quality might vary but this is the best value for money I could get. The job itself is probably 45 minutes a side once it’s all up in the air and the wheels are off.
    Try it at home before you pay £150 labour 🙏

    Keep the back bolts loose until you get the ball joint in. Doing it as you described will tear the rear bush over time as it's going to get twisted when you put the wheel back on and remove the jack.
    Neutral position is with weight on the wheels but you've locked the bushion in position with no weight

      Hi mate, the cars still in the family all seems well it’s only done 7000 miles since I fitted them though, hardly gets used haha. Good luck

    you should of used a bit of silicon to help it slide in
