If i cant make out a stamp or it dosnt have a stamp i test it with gold acid, i think its 18kt that will turn a silver scratch streak sky blue 🔵 ive found 2 of what i thought were junkers were actually silver, a earing and this tiny little thing i dont even know what it is

Just found a war nickel going through cleaned clad! I need to get a silver and gold test kit. Have all sorts of bits of unknown metals. I started detecting a year ago and hunted all winter except for two weeks when the ground froze hard. On the hunt for gold!
