Just like a human body there are malignant creatures (bacteria or hackers) that can get into us and shut us down for their own purposes. They don't care about you, they just want your raw recourses

To fix "mouse moving on its own" after already getting hacked, follow these steps:
1. Use Ethernet instead of wireless.
2. As soon as your mouse moves on its own unplug the Ethernet cable.
3. Fix the issue while offline.
4. Restart PC and factory reset your Router.
5. Done.
Why would you plug it into ethernet in the first place? Just turn of your router, also safe mode is a thing.

I am talking about a scenario where your PC is far from your router, unplugging ethernet from PC would be faster than going to the router, otherwise you are right.
My router (I think most do) resets its addresses and changed security settings (firewall, open ports...) if you factory reset it, that's why.

If it's on an open network, it can be hacked.

You WOULD be suprised how many fall for really obvious stuff! I am an internet and PC tech and I am constantly thinking "why would you do that or call the number and why in the freak did you actually give them permission to go into your PC?" Of course I dont say that but I do think it, everyday, several times a day!

On two occasions I've had customers argue with me and insist that they spoke to Microsoft. In one case the lady wanted a fix based on the laundry list of problems that the person on the phone mouthed off. I really couldn't get through to them and I thing they were just inherently dis-trusting of staff at my job.

That last one, a simple fix for it. Unplug your pc and smash the hard drive/solid state. Fixes that last problem every time.

why would your mouse moving make it that "you're screwed" or "it's probably too late" ? just go offline, if you can't through settings then just unplug your modem. if you're not connected to the internet, then whoever was in your pc -has just been disconnected. turn off your computer and take it to a shop. they can fix it if there was damage done, lol.

Yes I know what bootkit is. Any computer issue can be fixed. even if it means wiping the HD (or replacing it) and reinstalling Windows.

Just tape ur webcam, and dont download anything ur not 100% sure is safe. Also dont visit websites that u dont know if there safe. Edit: also get antivirus. But dont get those anti viruses that pop up randomly

aston morris 10 all webistes have html. If a webiste has programs but none to be seen in inspect element, that site probably uses php a server side language. Nothing to be worried about.
Websites are based around HTML. All web browsers are built to display HTML, it is the language of the front-end of the web. If a page is blank, nothing to worry about. It's probably just because you opened a request URL in your browser, and it wasn't supposed to return anything.
