I think this is Pixar's best, most mind-blowing short. They took a simple idea and really made use of it.
When I was young, I was apparently scared of this short so much that I cried when I merely saw the opening, and for the life of me I can figure out why because this is amazing
People are scared of things that aren’t even remotely scary when they’re young for some reason
When I was younger I just had a weird irrational fear of Pixar shorts in general. Like I saw the one with the red bicycle and the cgi freaked me out and after that I just looked at all of them in the same way, even though I knew it wasn’t like that
To be fair, the show Alec and Presto unintentionally put on is much much better than a simple rabbit in a hat trick. Even if Preston had other plans, I doubt they’d be as impressive as some of the stunts pulled during the show.

One of the best Pixar cartoons I’ve seen
Presto - where Pixar and Bugs Bunny collide into one!! Such an epic revamp of the old school style cartoon!! First time I watched it before Wall-E, I laughed so hard I thought I was going to pass out!! The Bluegrass music with a lightning gag still cracks me up!!
At 2:38 you can see Statler and Waldorf (the 2 old men from the Muppets) in a balcony (first one of the second row)
This is honestly one of the funniest Pixar shorts I've seen. Had tears streaming down my face at the cinema when I was 19. The comedic timing is fantastic
But the funny thing is, I wasn't keen on Wall E, found it a little boring, but if you like it, cool, I'm happy for you. x

I remember watching this with my great grandpa all the time after watching Wall-E all the time. Brings back some wonderful memories. Unfortunately he passed away in 2016 but thankfully with all of our family with his side.
